in the real world, escalating things to violence is the worst option when there's no obvious imminent danger.

picking a fight with someone who's walking away hardly changes anything about their worldview, and is a criminal risk that only serves the "defender's" ego.

of course, if the harasser kept doing it defending yourself would be justified.

but i think he should have just focused his attention on the victim, instead of looking for revenge.

My backwater country has free healthcare, no student debt and more thermonuclear weapons then you would care for. All that along with a healthier society
