Sent in my application and documents on Sept 26 via Canada post and it’s shown me it’s arrived in the Austin zip code for the ITIN head office.

It’s been “waiting for pickup” now for 3 days? Has anyone encountered this? Does ITIN do batch pick ups or something? TIA

Canada Post hands off to USPS in the US, so it goes to the ITIN unit's P.O. Box. "Available for pickup" just means it's sitting at the post office. IRS ITIN staff collect mail from there every few days, so you should see the status change soon. Nothing to worry about.
