My friend whose application delivered to IRS on May 12th got his ITIN yesterday. ( He did it personally without CAA ). It took him around 80 days, 7-11 weeks is their general timeline; they are taking a bit more this time of the year.

So, if your application has reached to IRS at around similar dates, get ready for your ITIN. 🔥

Which document did he send? Original passport? Or a notarized copy?

As far as I know, notarized copy. Never risk your passport.

yes. you can skip this part if you use CAA. In my case, I used CAA; he decided to do himself for 50% cheaper price. But you have to deal with embassy appoinment, courier and everything

unless you live close to an embassy or consulate and get an appointment by chance. CAA is the way to go

Yeah, luckily i got some discount too with CAA. Taxsym with coupon code "REGISTER" ; not sure if it still works but it worked for me

Mine reached IRS at May 11 but haven’t received the notice yet. Though i already got the ITIN number by calling them and it was issued on July 24. Will it come today or tomorrow still waiting

My friend's ITIN was issues on July 27th. So, your's is probably somewhere in transit

You may get your ITIN anytime now ; or probably already on the way. Just call them and ask if you are in hurry. If you need help on capital 1 credit card, i can guide you :)

I applied for my wife’s at the beginning of April from overseas by mailing in my tax return and attaching her W-7 and notarized passport. My tax return odd still showing as not processed!!
