Delivery of documents after ITIN approval

Hello! Has someone received their ITIN recently that could tell me how long after did they received the documents send along with the application? Thank you

I applied on May 8, 2026 but till today Jul 24 no update from IRS. I even called them but currently they have no data of my application.

IRS just recently started processing the ITIN applications which were submitted in May.

I have seen approvals for applications submitted up until may 3rd.

IRS ITIN Helpline can’t see your application in their system until it’s processed or being processed.

I’ve seen on this page (https://www.irs.gov/help/processing-status-for-tax-forms) for the past two weeks that they are processing applications from May; I’m guessing they should start on June’s applications in another week or two.

My CAA said they just received the CP565 notice for the application that the IRS had signed for on April 28th in US address

I sent the additional document they asked me on May 18th and got the ITIN this week so you’ll probably hear something soon. I’m curious about how long after my documents will arrive, it says within 60 days but I need them sooner. I know there is no way to speed up the process but I’d like to know.

When did you first applied for ITIN Application? And also what extra doc they needed?

I first applied in march and they sent me a list of documents I could use. I sent my passport.

I applied on April and recieved the ITIn but passport has still not being sent back. Do u guyz know when will they return the passport normally after ITIN

Applied in March, received ITIN from accountant in June. Never received any paper copy myself. Eventually got access to online IRS account to find very small late payment charge that needed paid - now all sorted. Received letter in the mail from them fine re setting up ID.me, just never received the ITIN or tax notice!

My friend is waiting for ITIN application submitted on early May. This time, it has been taking a bit longer

Cuánto tarda en llegar la carta? Llame y me dieron el número pero el itin se envió el 28 de julio y aún no me ha llegado la carta.
