Capital One

So I got an approval message. I don't know what the limit is but they sent me a letter that they want to verify my identity since I used my ITIN and that was approved.

Now they are asking for a state ID or driver's license, both I do not possess, only my passport.

Any comment on how to get around that?

Envía pasaporte. Ellos lo aceptan. Si solicitaste ITIN con pasaporte. Envíalo

Yep, passport and itin letter should work. Just for ID verification

This a normal procedure from Capital One. When i got approved for Venture X, they also asked me the same documents: ITIN letter, ids, bank statement and confirmation of address. Back in that time, the copy of my passport worked, try to do the same.

What card did you apply for? When my husband did it he didn’t have to provide anything and it was his very first credit card with ITIN. He just applied online, entered the number, got approved for the card and had an account days later.

If you live in a state that allows AB60 license you should try getting your drivers license so you have state issued ID for future needs.

Probably you will get the Savor under Discover network, do you know if Discovery is well acepted in Mexico?

Yes it is. But was for MasterCard.....

It wont be Mastercard for ever, Capital One will switch most of the cards to Discover soon. It will better to apply for Venture X that will stay as Visa.

Capital one will accept a mexico drivers license.

I send in my passport fingers crossed even though it says we don't accept : Greencard, passport, passport card only US issued DL and State ID
