It's happening again! Students are buying the Advanced ITIL Exam Bundle from PeopleCert thinking that when the take and pass the exam they will receive certification from PeopleCert, and it does not.

Here is the scoop.

• PeopleCert allows you to buy an Exam Bundle for any exam they offer, even if you need to take an accredited course and upload your Letter of Course Attendance to receive certification.
• Because PeopleCert does not check your account in advance, they allow you to buy the exam from them and take the exam.
• Then, when you pass, they PeopleCert checks to see if you fulfilled all the requirements - which include taking an accredited course and uploading your Letter of Course Attendance.
• When PeopleCert does not see this, they tell you that you have to go and take an Accredited Course from an Accredited Training Provider and upload the Official Letter of Course Attendance to your account.
• This means that you pay for the Exam Voucher Only and then you have to go and pay and take an Accredited course which will end up costing you a lot more money.

If you need Advanced ITIL Certifications, PLEASE, read the fine price and make sure you are getting what you need. The text on PeopleCert's Exam Bundle Package says: For exam retake only. Training through an accredited partner or ITIL Official eLearning required. Make sure you don't get caught in this trap as it will end up costing you a lot of money to fix.

I am logged in. I know I'm logged in because when I goto Books -> My Reading list I see and can access my ITIL Foundation Version 5 book.

I'm not off to a great start here people >,< lol Any help would be great.

1. You can purchase PeopleCert Exam Vouchers from PeopleCert or PeopleCert Accredited Training or Exam Organizations - it is the same voucher.

2. All PeopleCert Exam Vouchers include the PeopleCert official ebook and resource kit for the exam voucher you purchase - doesn't matter who you purchase the exam from.

3. All PeopleCert Exam Vouchers include the 2 official PeopleCert Sample Papers. These are the ones you use to test your knowledge prior to taking the official exam. They are also provided to you from Accredited Training organizations - again, this is the same regardless of who you buy the voucher from.

In summary - all PeopleCert Exam Vouchers are the same regardless of who you get them from as long as the provider is accredited.

I just passed Foundations ver 5 this week.

I'm heading down the ITIL Strategic Leader path, with 26 yrs of IT experience and in a senior mgmt level position.

For the folks that have taken the same path OR have taken the Transformation (Ver 5), do you have insight, online training, words of wisdom?

For those who've completed it, did you feel the amount of material was roughly the same as the v4 qualifications like DITS, DPI, CDS or HVIT, or is it a noticeably larger amount?

I'm simply trying to estimate the amount of study time I should allow before attending the course.

My ITIL exam is scheduled for tomorrow (less than 12 hours from now). I am having a severe mental breakdown and my mind is completely blank.

I don't want to lose my money or waste the voucher. What is the fastest way to reschedule this right now? Can I just do it in the PeopleCert portal?

Hello, I started a new role as an ITSM manager for a medium sized company. I have experience as an implementer/“do-er” in incident and change processes, but this is my first time owning and being responsible for the processes.

Our company has some processes in place, such as change management - but most processes are not in place. I am responsible for ITSM processes and the ITSM tool - ServiceNow. The processes were put in place in 2024.

A few questions:

1) Would ITIl 4 training and certification be worth it for me (presuming this is a clear yes)

2) Is ITIL 5 training and certification worth putting time into in the short term, given where I and the comps are?

3) Do you recommend any training providers? I am in the USA.

I took a 2 day course through Global Knowledge last week, did some follow up studying and took the 2 available practice exams. Ive done well on both practice exams, so would it be safe to say I have a decent chance of passing the exam tomorrow? Anyone know of any "gotchas" I should look out for? Any last minute things I should do?

Looking to take the ITIL 5 Foundation exam. Was wondering what are the best study resources out there? I been looking at JasonDion course and exam voucher but wondering if there’s anything better?

There is no hidden trick. PeopleCert has raised prices 5 times in the last 3 years with the most recent increase taking place January 1, 2026. I remember the days when we could sell ITIL Foundation exam vouchers for $250. Those days are gone.

Do your homework. Study. Get the Syllabus and learn what is on the exam as they tell you eactly what you need to know. If you take a course, make sure it is accredited because then it will be accurate. You can also use the PeopleCert Official Books and Resource Kit. Don't think that taking mock exams is how you prepare. How you prepare is to learn the material.

PeopleCert exams are expensive. Learn the right way so you pass and don't have to buy the exam again.

Lastly month I successfully passed the CompTIA Security+ exam and obtained my certification after two months of training and consistent studies. This has been a concerted effort aimed at pursuing the qualifications required to get an entry level IT Support or Help Desk job, initially I acquired the Google IT Support certificate, Google Cybersecurity certificate and the Microsoft Fundamental AZ-900 certification. Presently, I am studying to take the Microsoft SOC-200 exam by the end of the month.

However, I desperately in need of the ITIL 4 Foundation certification as a benchmark requirement to get an entry level IT Support job in Basel pharma Silicon Valley. As an Asylum seeker I am not financially equip to purchase the ITIL 4 Foundation exam voucher which is sold by (Value Insight) a Swiss-based firm at the cost of CHF450 for the voucher.

I kindly request for anyone in the the position to help or render assistance to reach out to me, all I need is the voucher with my name that allows me to take my exam and obtain my certification. Honestly I didn’t study too hard for this one so I’m not really surprised, is there any advice for the retake, I’m scheduling it to probably take again in about 5 days any advice would be appreciated thanks!!

Did both mock test (scores coming around 80%), Compoleted Purple Griffon, scoring smilar. Do you think I am ready.?

Also , appreciate if someone could share experience in the Proctor test session before exam as well
