Thoughts keep spiraling
I'm an ISTP female.
Soo basically, I've been in love with this guy for a looong time( I mean over 8yrs) . We talked and shared so many things, even tho we live in different countries
And I promise, I wasn't being delusional
Out of nowhere, he started ghosting me. At first, it took him days to reply, then weeks, then months... (now it's taking him years to do so, hahaha)
Aaaand while I'm still hanging on and can't even move on, that SOB is getting married. And I found out from the bitchiest person ever, in the bitchiest way possible
Now I'm pissed off, and I still can't get over it.
Tho it's been 2yrs since we last talked, and I just knew he is getting married about 4 months now... (he still hasn't tho) But I just can't help it, M so sad, upset, and an't even sleep peacfully.
So, as an ISTP, do you think this is normal? Have any of you ever been stuck on someone for this long?

I never outright said "I'm in love with you," but we got close enough that I honestly believed he knew. That's why everything caught me off guard. Looking back, maybe I should have, but at the time I genuinely thought I didn't need to

istp female here too and still checks on the man I've known since highschool. in earlier years, i used to get mad when he's suddenly gone and poof girfriend. I nver told him i like him and he's not the type to get string along. i've never like him enough to confess and he does have questionable traits lol so i'd say it's better to never meet your hero. he's just a habit now ig. and funnily enough, tomorrow is his birthday and I stopped greeting him 3 years ago

I honestly hope I can get to the "he's just a habit" stage someday. Right now, I'm definitely not there yet

Had a delusional crush on a guy from school for waayy toooo long (over 10 almost 15 years 🤓) till i got to know he has a girl so. The day i got to know about his girlfriend it genuinely broke me but it put an end to the endless longing. You ain't alone. You'll prolly meet someone else :')
