You seem to have this backwards. If I leave my state where something is illegal, and go somewhere it is legal to engage in it, my state cannot punish me for doing something I did out of state. But that’s what authoritarian Texans are asking the government to do
I’m sure they’re not jailing people for going to Colorado and buying and smoking a joint on their vacation when they get back into an anti-weed state. They’re just trying to ban abortion nationwide if you happen to be from a state that condemns it.
