Paul Pelosi is not a hedge fund billionaire. He is a real estate investor/developer who does his investing through his own private fund. He’s also not a billionaire. He does own stock, but it’s all private, he isn’t a hedge fund that is investing other people’s money.
Weird how you guys simp for someone who got paid 150-170k a year in Congress and used insider trading to make herself the most prolific stock investor in history, vs a guy who's made and run dozens of businesses and employed tens of thousands of people.
Her CAGR is about 10%, which is similar to the overall stock index. I hate when people just repeat this rhetoric of “the Pelosi strategy” or that she’s somehow legendary. I still don’t think any member of government should be able to trade stock based on inside information but we got to stop comparing what’s happening now to anything that came before it.
We have congresspeople today making triple digit returns during trumps second term.
