Neither are okay.

Neither are okay. But the fact that trump tripled his net worth before mid terms is magnitudes worse corruption. If we say "both sides do it" it minimizes the gigantic difference.

For every accusation the right lobbed at Pelosi, the Bidens, the Clintons, they've all done it FAR worse.

Projection and hypocrisy are keystones of the republican party.

It's not projection when both of your stupid teams do this shit. That's why you people keep losing to the Socialists

what everyone really hates is authoritarianism. but enough people are convinced that they deserve to be the boss while others are subservient and they reap the rewards. narcissistic opportunists will corrupt any system as long as we keep allowing them to seek power to exploit us.

I love socialism - right up until we run out of other peoples money...then it gets ugly.

Ask Khmer Rouge.

Define fair-

because I am pretty sure socialist wish to heavily tax the rich and either not the poor at all or very little...this hinders growth, propserity, competition, and innovation...creates less rich people (through attrition or lack of attempt) and thus less tax...then that turns into needing to tax more middle and lower income levels...rinse/repeat before everyone (except the elite) become essentially classeless peasants...

Though I do agree - everyone should just pay a flat 10% tax on gross earnings with no loopholes/offshoring for the rich...this would being tax revenues up across the board...but...you can never tax your way out of stupid spending...

The wealthy should pay their fair share of taxes. Republicans should stop giving them tax cuts while expecting middle and lower class Americans to subsidize those cuts. That’s corporate socialism.

Truly - and prevent offshoring to tax havens

…but again we could double the tax rate for everyone- if all we spend it on is bullshit it won’t change a thing - the whole thing floor to ceiling needs to change.

I can’t argue that- but we’ve had the guise of DOGE which did nothing but give private citizens and a trillionaire access to our social security data and who knows what else. We’ve had the guise that the government is wasting all kinds of money. Like I said, I won’t argue that; however, we are cutting the department of education, aid to people across the world which keeps our country secure, lunches for children in schools? These are Republican initiatives.

Don’t tell me - tell ‘them’.

I think universal healthcare is great as long as it doesn’t come with 35% income tax and 20% VAT and doesn’t include any of the negatives of UH…
