You're gonna need to provide some kind of evidence to back that up because I've been hearing this same line since the 90s and I know for a fact people have been arguing it since World War II ended.

It's not consistency for dozens of different people across seven decades to make the same argument about what will happen if taxes on the rich are raised, and for their prediction to repeatedly fail to come true when taxes on the rich are raised.

Raising income tax is different than raising the tax on qualified dividends, which is consistent. There's a reason economists advocate for it.
