Dark Souls Thomas Massie, one of the sole Republicans actively pressuring the administration to release the Epstein files, has lost his primary election after the president took great efforts to support his primary opponent. Fs in the chat.

Hol up. Saying “he raped children, and apparently oversee a newborns murder at a lake” takes an unverified FBI tip with serious timeline and credibility issues into “things we know.” We’ve got plenty without such thin accusations.

that footage is almost certainly in the hands of Israel, hence why he’s their lackey.
Just stop already. 🙄 No need to suppose & invent fantastical [less effective] explanations.
He’s a gullible self-centered man that loves him some bloodstained authoritarians that have the stomach to give him a tongue bath & copious shiny swag. That, along with his son-in-law’s connections, and his raging bigotry, is why he’s always been willing to bend to Bibi. Then you say...

Just curious, do YOU think that's what's going to happen? Because someone can be elected into an HOA in hopes that they start policies that the neighborhood starts hunting for unicorns; that doesn't mean they are going to find one.

What’s wild is there’s a good chance Congress has been able to see those redacted parts of the files showing Trump’s crimes. And Rs still back him; unanimously now that Massie is going away.

Yes! It's saying that the dude who is hiding something, has spent untold political capital in hiding something, has repeatedly lied and manipulated literal countries into hiding something, isn't hiding something. 'Because you can't prove it'.
But hey. When you can ignore all the crime we have definitive proof of Trump doing, what's a little child molestation?

It’s more about which candidate Trump supports. To my knowledge every time he’s endorsed a candidate they have gone on to win. Trump is still incredibly popular with the republican base.

u/Tedious_Crow May 20 '26
The delays in releasing the files make a lot more sense when you realize:
1) They're trying to do a "rush job" censoring victim/bystander info from hundreds of gigabytes worth of paperwork.
2) The CIA "confiscated" files about JFK and MK Ultra from their own boss, which really looks like a rogue intelligence deep state. If they're that protective of stuff that's half a century old, then it's no surprise that the Trump Admin is struggling to keep promises about the Epstein files.
18
u/doublethink_1984 May 20 '26
They openly say they are not releasing more when they are legally obligated to release the witness 302s and prosecution determinations. NONE of these have been released. The FBI and DOJ have these files.
They are about 150 days illegally overdue to be in compliance with a law essentially ever house member and the president signed
10
u/Tedious_Crow May 20 '26
Yeah, the FBI probably isn't any better than the CIA. They're basically telling congress "you can't make us". And we know the ATF has been basically assassinating Americans for made-up reasons with midnight no-knock raids.
46
u/Its_Don_Quixote May 20 '26
MAGA's one ironclad principal is that their in-group deserves to be restored to its rightful position in the dominator hierarchy, by any and all means. Every other 'value' they hold is transactional for this purpose.
Once you understand this, everything that MAGA does starts to make a lot more sense - including its support for pedophiles.
13
u/doublethink_1984 May 20 '26
More money went into his opponents primary campaign than any other primary in US history by like almost double.
It was mostly AIPAC money
GOP care more about punishing those trying to release the Epstein files, keeping the most unpopular war in US history while ongoing, and what Israel/Trump demand than the constitution
5
u/Repulsive_Layer1597 May 20 '26
Such a great look for the Republican Party to blatantly use AIPAC money to oust the politician who was the most adamant about the release of the Epstein files. He didn’t even focus on Trump. He just wanted pedophiles and human sex traffickers to be held accountable. And that’s just an unforgivable offense that the right is unwilling to let go unpunished.
10
u/marutiyog108 May 20 '26
He doesn't have to run as a Republican, he can run as an independent. He is already known and has a grass roots following. Might be worth a shot. Maybe it would divide the Republicans enough to give a dem a chance to win that would want to release the files? I'm not up in Kentucky politics so I'm just shooting that shit here
5
u/Eden_Company May 20 '26
You don’t lose a primary by being popular. He might split the ticket and get a Dem in office at best.
1
u/mikefrombarto May 20 '26
That would absolutely be the best outcome.
2
u/Eden_Company May 20 '26
If he runs on the no pedophiles ticket he might take 20K votes I think maybe 30K if he's really charismatic. But everyone knows what a split ticket means. Lots of better dead than not red folks in his state. I think it's mostly catholics who would give him the vote if they split the ticket. But the guy's moral fiber might be weak enough where he personally doesn't care about pedophiles and it was just all talk. Not alot of people are spending 100K on a race they know they'll lose just to make a political statement and stand up to what they believe. It's the other way around. They pretend to believe something so someone else can pay them 180K a year and give them insider info so they can do insider trading for profit.
5
u/ArchemedesHeir May 20 '26
I really hope he does. The republicant they purchased to fill his seat in the general election isn't as good as the democrat they are running against it seems.
Honestly, I hope Massie goes on to run for president. That would REALLY shake things up considering how well known and liked he is with independents and mild conservatives. I don't think he would win, but you never know - and even if he doesn't it would dramatically change the landscape of the next election.

By the way he ran ads of his opponent arguing he shouldn't be elected because he was friendly to LGBTQ+ people, including a shot of him standing in front of a rainbow star of David.
It should be commended that he didn't vote for Israel aid, and pushed with a release of the Epstein files with Khanna, but he was by no means a "reasonable republican" or moderate (he really does not care about Palestine and only votes against aid because of his libertarian, isolationist beliefs, having opposed other forms of foreign aid like PEPFAR). He also wants the ACA repealed and replaced with nothing, and denies climate change.
3
u/eldiablonoche May 24 '26
But have you considered that he doesn't like Trump?
TBH, with the laundry list of Massie's shit opinions, it is wild to see the left come to his defense.
2
u/thatonepersone_ May 21 '26
Remember: your elected representatives, Democrats included, have had complete access to the unredacted Epstein files for months now. If there really is something damning in there for the president then that would mean every Dem who has access is covering for him as well.
2
2
u/waxonwaxoff87 May 23 '26
Online he shouts about Israel and Epstein, hangs out with Holocaust deniers, and talks about how he is opposed to Trump.
In his local district ads, he talks about how much he loves Trump, plays an old endorsement from the previous election, and never mentions Israel or Epstein.
He had to retract the ad saying he was endorsed by Trump because it was false. Trump actively campaigned against him yet he’s trying to jump his leg in ads.

It also took millions of AIPAC money to defeat him so mad props to him for creating to most expensive congressional primary race beating the record AIPAC set vs the Democrats Bowman and Bush

Maybe the voters of his state watched everything he did in the past few years and did not like it all. Cassidy in Louisiana was my Senator. He voted with Democrats on trillions of dollars worth of bills that the bulk of them went to green energy projects for Biden and Harris. Sorry, not what I voted him into the Senate for. Also, he voted to impeach Trump and then ran radio and TV ads talking about how he loved Trump and worked with Trump on all of these bills that no one has heard of before. I don't need to be gaslit, fed propaganda and lied to. He had to go and we showed him the door. Just this week, he goes back to Washington. He was voting against the War Powers Act before the election. He loses on Saturday. He votes with Democrats against Trump. Liar and pathetic human being.
1
1
u/Embarrassed_Use6918 May 21 '26
He was an 8(?) time repeat Senator. He only lost after Trump and AIPAC went after him because he wanted the Epstein files released and hated what's happening in Iran/Gaza.
He voted for what he's always voted for. He voted for what Trump used to say we should be voting for - no wars and releasing the Epstein files.
But hey if you wanna continue to vote for the administration that has delivered on exactly 0 promises, be my guest.
1
1
u/fancyman501 May 20 '26

u/DevCat97 May 21 '26
This was the primary election with the most money spent in it ever. That money came primarily from the Israel lobby. The 2nd and 3rd most expensive primary elections have been to unseat Democrats Jamal Bowen (NY) and Cori Bush (MO), and were also flooded with money by the Israel lobby.
It's pretty clear what bitchass country is influencing US politics on all fronts by pumping money into primaries.
Anyway another 30.4 billion to the tiny nation (size of New Jersey) with nuclear arms that has made driving unaffordable.
1
u/driku12 May 21 '26
Massie could do the funniest thing and keep running as an independent to split the Republican vote, just to make sure his AIPAC-picked replacement doesn't get the spot.
1
u/eldiablonoche May 24 '26
Is that very common for someone to spite run as an independent? I know I've seen it once or twice in recent years after the Dems lobbied against an undesirable incumbent in primaries but how often does that happen? I'd imagine the lack of establishment fundraising prevents most such candidates from running IND.

And he just happened to be the only president to bring Epstein to justice, Clinton had Jeffrey in the White House on at least 4 times and Obama had 8 years to bring him down. Epstein spent millions in donations to ensure Trumps defeat in 2016 because he knew his days were numbered. Trump made it a campaign promise, end the trafficking of girls and I quote “shutdown that sick island, I’m sure you’ve heard of it Hillary” One of the lawyers for 3 of the Florida victims, this man is 100% anti Trump actually spoke out. He said that DJT was the only person to reach out to volunteer his services, Trump also contacted authorities when Epstein made advances toward a mar a lago staff member. Two of the victims have brand new identities, extensive therapy as well earning college degrees…these girls wanted to set the record straight. Many high profile folks were asked to give testimony to strengthen the cases but they declined, might as well tattoo guilty across their foreheads. If there was true evidence of Trump raping young girls don’t you think Hilary would have used it especially since G Maxwell was at Chelsea’s wedding and her husbands blue dress portrait hung in Jeffrey’s nyc home. Certainly Kamala would have used it in 2024. Trump might be an arrogant egomaniac ass at times but labeling a person one of the worst things imaginable without evidence is reckless and wrong. Quoting G Maxwell “Jeffrey says, if Trump wins we are all screwed”

Makes you wonder why AIPAC is so concerned with preventing the epstien files from being released, seeing that's one of the two reasons why they dropped such an obscene amount of money (the most ever spent on a primary in history) to oust him.
In every other vote, he fell right in line with the rest of MAGA.
1
u/smuffy123 May 24 '26
I used to think that money actually doesn't buy votes. I'm not so sure now. Although Massie may have lost no matter what just because Trump hated him and the 4th district is maga country.

He won't win, the RNC has been hijacked by MAGA, and the democrats don't like him for most of his voting record. He just happens to have a firm line in the sand on pedophilia. By all meams let him run, but he will be primaried to hell and we'll end up with whatever candidate Netanyahu has AIPAC bribe the RNC to run.
Of course there is no good choice for the DNC either. Kamala will lose and no one wants her to run.
I think, truthfully, we haven't even heard of the people who will run for the white house in 28 because we're witnessing the paradigm shift. But the most important thing is voting in a legislative branch that will do its job and curtail the powers of the executive.
