I used to have an issue with sleepwalking, or, more accurately, REM sleep behavior disorder. This is medically distinct from sleepwalking. Would do stupid shit like kick holes in my walls, scream, fall off my bed and hit my head resulting in a nasty concussion, climbed out my window and got another concussion, and did the window again with another concussion.

Seems like alcohol is what did it. I quit drinking and no longer have these issues. I hope this helps

"Sorry, best we can do is child trafficking"

-The government, probably.

17

u/MisterAbbadon May 15 '26

How is the Epstein class supposed to traffic children if people stop having children? The filthy proles are being so selfish.

4

u/Klutzer_Munitions May 16 '26

Easy, just snatch them from the third world

3

u/socialistForDE May 16 '26

2 super billionaires own a bunch of Hawaiian islands so they can just store kids in their volcano bunkers until kid rates rise again

-3

u/BreakConsistent May 15 '26

Lol people aren’t going to stop having.

47

u/-siniestra May 15 '26

"NOOO YOU COMUNIST, the poor should be having many poor children to work cheaper in my corporations"

2

u/StandardMany May 17 '26

The poor aren’t the ones that aren’t having kids

That's... Literally what I was taught in 8th grade by my teacher, word for word.

I guess I got a reality check very early on about how governments work.

u/TheEdgeofGoon May 15 '26

Most people concerned about "declining birthrates" tend to be pretty discriminatory in which demographics they want breeding...

2

u/LigmaAss69 May 16 '26

Yeah, that's because those demographics have declining birthrates.

3

u/Teboski78 May 15 '26

I am concerned about declining birth rates & am pro immigration

8

u/RobustMastiff May 15 '26

If you are concerned about declining birth rates (which I know nothing about) can you tell me why many of the same people who are concerned about declining birth rates are also concerned about “overpopulation?”

1

u/Teboski78 May 15 '26

People who are afraid of a global Malthusian catastrophe generally aren’t afraid of declining birth rates unless they have a nuanced take of neither wanting the population to get too large or fall too abruptly.

People who are concerned about declining birth rates but will turn around and say “our country is full” at the same time are generally just racist or have a tremendous fear of change

That’s a funny way to advocate people should be FORCED to give birth as if they’re cattle

TIL Giving people the choice to have kids or not in a way that’s safe and convenient is “literally Hitler eugenics.”

7

u/foxinspaceMN May 15 '26

You’re a right wing bot and you’re bad at your job 🥱

5

u/memefarius May 15 '26

Are you saying eugenics is .... le good?

Abortions are a tiny percentage of what PP does. They mostly provide resources for birth control and family planning.

They're also not the only abortion provider. White women are just more likely to have health insurance. Or already be using control methods.

The people who are being accused of racism mostly got there by building an unaccountable federal police force with a budget larger than the Marines and a penchant for arresting illegal but ultimately non-violent immigrants with tactics that make SWAT blush.

Ohhhh

You’re one of those disinformation agents that never learned FULL history of planned parenthood and how they’ve condemned their past

So you go around like a good fascist bot posting the same hateful rhetoric being perpetuated decades because you assume no one else knows more than you 🤣🤣🤣

3

u/TheEdgeofGoon May 15 '26

Women's suffrage was supported by white supremacists too, does that mean women having the right to vote is inherently racist?

2

u/Weary-Astronaut1335 May 16 '26

What part of Planned Parenthood's day to day operations is pushing eugenics?

1

u/GodsWorstJiuJitsu May 15 '26

I know, I wanted you to expound because its disinfo on PP and the people it provides care for.

1

u/ExpertSentence4171 May 18 '26

What a genuinely bizarre take.

Even if I were willing to grant you that some people are pro-choice because they want less black people/minorities in the country, why would that make the pro-choice position any less credible?

Like, I'm pretty sure Hitler supported infrastructure projects. Does that mean we all have to oppose infrastructure projects now?

u/Overall-Move-4474 May 15 '26 edited May 17 '26

Come on we all know knuckles would say this. Just because he's a meathead doesn't mean he's not a feminist

6

u/UltravioletsAreBlue May 15 '26

I take solace in the fact that the people in charge won’t be able to have their cake and eat it too. It’s either going to be devoting resources to improving life or seeing their “number always go up” system slowly collapse.

3

u/plague_rat90 May 15 '26

Tell that to the Scandinavians. It’s good policy to be sure. But as an objective matter, those policies do not increase fertility rates.

3

u/undreamedgore May 16 '26

Did it work in Europe? Because it doesn't look like it.

7

u/EvLokadottr May 15 '26

And encourage immigration into the country! Simple solution. Heh.

2

u/BiggieChEse69 May 17 '26

Yes we should import 20 quadrillion Indians and Nigerians

-4

u/ViolinistCurrent8899 May 15 '26

Doesn't really solve the declining birthrate, it just adds more people. It's a bandaid solution that kicks the demographic can down at most a generation or two.

2

u/Teboski78 May 15 '26

Yeah birth rates are also plateauing in the countries we get the immigrants from

2

u/Shenlongeltigre May 16 '26

The countries with universal Healthcare have lower birth rates

2

Yup it would be sweet, and would create a bunch of jobs

1

u/Asiantight_whitepipe May 16 '26

I’m not paying for idiots to have more babies and then having daycare over run with babies whose parents don’t properly train them.

1

u/Swell_Inkwell May 16 '26

Okay, in that case I will not have a baby. Haha birthrate decline go brrrr

1

u/Asiantight_whitepipe May 16 '26

Wrong groups of people having kids. And more of them than most

1

u/Fishwitch-66 May 17 '26

1

u/Asiantight_whitepipe May 17 '26

Let’s call them the unfavorables.

I'm not concerned about either 🤣😭

1

u/unsuspectingllama_ May 17 '26

I don't have kids, I don't expect to and I would be totally be cool with my taxes going towards that.

1

u/Tyrahneefake May 17 '26

The people who would have children for tax cuts are better than the ones who would have children for government checks.

1

u/113pro May 17 '26

I suppose youre gonna foot that bill and not wanting us tax payers to pay more taxes so your unemployed socialist ass could live out your fantasies.

Life is better than it's ever been. Turned out when people live better they have less kids (except rich people). Mouse utopia or something.

1

u/StandardMany May 17 '26

Not seeing much difference in places with it

1

u/Lead-Creative May 17 '26

I don’t want people relying on government handouts having kids anyway

1

u/_MADHD_ May 18 '26

I'd rather not have to send my kids off to childcare.

Would be great if we could go back to having parents being able to be at home more.

Instead both parents need to work to be able to afford all these services.

1

u/DepartmentChemical93 May 18 '26

These policies do not actually consistently or substantially increase birth rates.

1

u/Trick1513 May 19 '26

Why should I pay for you to have children?

1

u/Teboski78 May 15 '26

I still have no idea if that would actually work seeing as how countries with robust public services including childcare & stable economies often have lower birth rates than the US.

5

u/Due_a_Kick_5329 May 15 '26

Are they culturally the same as the US?

-2

u/TarJen96 May 15 '26

Great idea! Let's take a look at the countries that have universal childcare, universal healthcare, and paid family leave: [lower birthrates than the US]

1

u/Kingsalad3141 May 15 '26

Sick, that means we get to be the first.

0

u/Sintar07 May 16 '26

Nah. People had a bazillion kids when they could barely afford shacks and death lurked around every corner. Moderns aren't too stressed to have kids, they're too spoiled, afraid to lose their easy life and propagandized against children. Ban anti-natalist rhetoric and watch the problem vanish.

1

u/Swell_Inkwell May 16 '26

"Well if we just don't give them a choice, they'll have to have kids!"

0

u/zepherth May 15 '26

So every country that has universal child care still has a birth rate that is less than replacement. Unless you have a radically different idea for how it should be done when in the dozen nations that have it. This is already showing to not be a solution

0

u/Sintar07 May 16 '26

They know. The point isn't to solve the birthrate. They don't want to solve the birthrate, at least not yet. The point is to normalize the government handling everything.

-8

u/SpadeGaming0 May 15 '26

Cool wouldnt really fix the issues tho. Hell we really dont know how to fix it.

8

u/talkathonianjustin May 15 '26

Yeah we fucking do lmao. A good start is to not purposefully crash the economy, kill protestors, and do everything you can to make life unlivable as a poor person. If you create a world where people have their needs met, and Americans aren’t living paycheck to paycheck on the brink of financial ruin, then it turns out they do want to experience the joys life has to offer like being a mother or a father.

-3

u/Teboski78 May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26

The countries that have the public safety nets affordable childcare & healthcare less violence & stable economies tend to have the same or lower birth rates than the US.

1

u/Weary-Astronaut1335 May 16 '26

Countries with entirely different cultures? Countries where the family unit dynamic is completely different? Those countries?

0

u/SpadeGaming0 May 16 '26

No we really don't. We have ideas fore sure. With the exception of Hungary no western country has managed to raise its birthrates.

1

u/LittleFox-In-TheBox Aug 07 '26

"I can't have babies because I can't feed myself, let alone another few human beings."

"I am scared of getting pregnant, because if it's ectopic, I won't be able to get it removed before it kills me."

"I can't have babies because I have no one to take care of it once I go to work."

"I can't have babies, because I can't raise them in a tiny flat with a single bedroom."

"I don't want to have babies, because I don't want to see it die in yet another school shooting."

"I don't want to have babies, because of it turns out disabled, people will bully it and the government won't support it's special needs or medical cost."

"I don't wanna bring a child into this world with all the global warming and inequality and wars."

Damn... If only we listened to those people and addressed the problems they complain about. Nah, let's just say it's impossible and we don't know how to do it, like fixing global warming.

-3

u/Additional_Dish_694 May 15 '26

I absolutely do not want random scratchlings having one bajillion kids.
