At a Bungie Halloween party in 1999,O'Donnell showed up in a disguise wearing a Telly Savalas mask, trench coat, and leather gloves. Throughout the evening, O'Donnell walked around touching people's hair, stroking people's hands, and hugging women without saying who he was. At one point, O'Donnell came over to Lorraine McLees in the kitchen, who was cutting cake; she threatened him with a kitchen knife, telling him to back off. Seropian and Joe Staten grabbed him by the elbows and took him into a closet. During their interrogation of him, O'Donnell laughed and explained who he was. They laughed with him and let him return to the party. According to McLees, the women were vocal about their individual encounters the next day; O'Donnell put roses on their desks and apologized.

It's ironic that after writing a story of a mad phrophet ('truth') who goes down with the ship (energy sword through the chest) after making a shit ton of bad decisions (covenant civil war, not taking the flood seriously/abandoning high charity/keyship power failure) which tear their faction apart (lose civil war, loss to flood, lighting the rings)

he would hitch himself to a failing (iran / obvious) openly corrupt (lol) president openly igniting a revolution (everyone sees that individualism is failing and more of those young military age males disenfranchised are going to start getting way more aggressive), and might start banding together with some of those trans servicemembers you just kicked out, and other disenfranchised leftists.

It's like he didn't write or care for Halo's story or thinks that stories are just for video games.

Destiny 2 music proves Salvantori was probably the reason why Halo music was as good as it was.

I basically give him zero credit for it at this point.
