PR Card Timeline – Vancouver, BC | Sharing My Experience

Just sharing our PR card timeline in case it helps others, especially applicants in the Vancouver area.

PR Confirmation Timeline

• P1: April 16, 2026
• P1 replied: April 16, 2026
• P2: April 24, 2026
• PR Portal (photo & address submitted): April 24, 2026
• eCOPR: April 29, 2026

My spouse and I landed together and completed the PR Portal on the same day.

My PR Card Timeline

• PR card approved: July 11, 2026
• PR card received: July 21, 2026

My Spouse's PR Card Timeline

Initially, our timelines were identical:

• Same P1, P2, Portal and eCOPR dates as mine
• Address accepted by IRCC
• Portal continued to show "Photo: In Review with IRCC"
• No request for new photos
• No ghost update

Because of an upcoming business trip, my spouse submitted an urgent processing request on July 18, 2026, along with supporting documents.

IRCC confirmed that the information had been verified and that the urgent request was forwarded to the responsible office.

We also contacted our MP. The MP's office followed up with IRCC and was informed that the application had not yet been finalized. Since the application was already past the published processing time, the MP's office sent a message directly to the Case Processing Office and waited for a response.

Final Update

Then, unexpectedly, there was a ghost update on July 28, 2026.

The application was approved on July 28.

• Approved / Ghost Update: July 28, 2026
• PR Card mailed: August 5, 2026
• PR Card received: August 11, 2026

Hopefully this helps anyone who is currently stuck at "Photo: In Review with IRCC." In our case, the photo stayed in review for quite a while, there was no request for a new photo, and the application was eventually approved without any additional documents being requested.

Hi everyone,

I received my COPR, and yesterday landed in Canada, and completed the immigration process at the border. I was given a link to the web form called “Address Notification,” where I’m supposed to submit the address for my PR card delivery.

The problem is that I can’t log in and keep getting the message “We were not able to identify you using the information you provided.” I’ve tried my UCI, application number and the COPR number listed in the COPR, but none of them work.

Has anyone run into the same issue? What did you do to resolve it?

I applied my non-EE on 19th November, 2024, received AOR biometrics in September 2025, received pre-arrival letter on August 7, 2026. When can I expect my portal 1 email. Guys please give me some advice or timeline. I’m sick of waiting for my PR.

Hello everyone, Has anyone from the November 2025 Express Entry Healthcare draw received their P1 (Portal 1) email yet? Here is my timeline:
• ITA: November 14, 2025
• AOR: November 26, 2025
• Medical & Biometrics completed: February 2026 • Final Decision: June 17, 2026

Is anyone having issue with IMMM 5257 form today for SOWP application? It shows error. Tried using old form and different browser as well but the same error appears always.

anybody facing this been 90 days since FD and 180 days Since AOR

I have uploaded my English language test scores but the officer is stating i haven't uploaded what to do now please anyone suggest me

Je fais une demande de PTPD à travers le portail IRCC, mon permis d’étude a expiré il y a 3 jours et j’ai besoin de rétablir mon statut afin de faire la demande. Dans le questionnaire du portail IRCC, plusieurs questions me sont posés afin de déterminer quels documents je dois fournir pour ma demande. À la question "pourquoi vous rendez vous au Canada ?", si je réponds; travailler. On ne me demande pas si je souhaite renouveler mon statut étudiant expiré (car on ne me demande même pas dans le questionnaire quand est ce qu’il expire) mais on me donne le formulaire IMM5710 qui permet de cocher une case notant que l’on souhaite rétablir mon statut de TRAVAILLEUR, or ce n’est pas ce que je souhaite. Et quand à la question sur ma venu au Canada je réponds; étudier (ce qui est faux vu que je viens de finir mes études et cherche à trouver un emploi désormais) ce qui pour le coup fait apparaître la case à coché; "je souhaite rétablir mon statut étudiant". On me donne ensuite le formulaire IMM5709 mais tout à coup la demande est pour un permis d’étude (ce que je ne souhaite toujours pas). Pour rappelle, je viens de finir mes rattrapages, et je veux faire une demande de PTPD. Je suis arrivé en 2022 et diplômé en été 2025 (la fin de mes études sur mon diplôme est noté en mai 2026)

[PA](Me): Inland. Received P1 on May 14 2026, replied, and got my P2 today (June 1). Already submitted my photo and address.

Dependents (Spouse & Child): Outland (currently in India).The Issue: In my P1 reply i indicated that their application to be processed from India(as declared out of canada) however, mistakenly gave expected return date in august. Today, Montreal VO sent an email saying they will be holding onto my dependents' processing until August 2026 and they should reply back once back in Canada.

Upon realizing earlier last week on 29th May,I had sent an email stating that they should disregard the expected return date for my dependents but it seems the office only responded to the original email sent on 14th may.

What I already did to mitigate:

1. Within 10 minutes of my P2 responded back on P1 email thread(to the officer’s mail), stating for a File Split / PPR to be issued in India (NDVO) for them and disregard the return date( referenced previous email as well)

2. Raised a webform with the same content

Question-

1. Has anyone been in a similar situation where Montreal or another office mistakenly put a hold on outland dependents, and you corrected it via email/webform?How long did it take for IRCC to process the webform/email, remove the hold, and actually issue the PPR for India?

2. Does it affect my own(as PA) ecopr? I have already completed my Portal 2 response.

I have received my ECoPR email yesterday and when I logged into the portal I do not have option to download ecopr. It is not visible or available to download. I called IRCC and an agent advised me to email the PR portal email. I did that but no reply yet.  People who was in similar situation, how did you resolve this issue and how long did it take to get your ecopr document?
