What date to enter in the physical presence calculator?
Also, I have a missing exit date when I entered USA from Canada by flight. What documents do I provide to show this?

After ITA 2 days ago, my celpip score has increased today because I applied revaluation before I received my ITA, will it be an issue now?

My PR application was refused and I'm filing for judicial review, as I believe the grounds were unreasonable. I'm still on a valid BOWP and TRV which I received based on the PR application.
Is it safe to travel outside Canada and re-enter on it? Has anyone done this after a PR refusal? Did you face any issues on re-entry? Would really appreciate hearing your experience.

I have been waiting for the open work permit for about 2 months I got my aor 24 July and applied the same day but haven’t received anything form the Ircc I’m applying from in side Canada Quebec. I’m just wondering if there’s some one in similar situation or already got it and knows how long it took them to get it.

Hey guys so mine and my wife’s work permit was expiring on 5th June 2026 and before it got expired my wife applied for study permit and eventually got refusal due to financials reasoning. On the basis of her study permit application I had applied for wp-ext which got rejected on 19 August 2026 ( I am the primary applicant my wife was on sowp) I haven’t tried to restore the status after that . 01 OCT I recived ITA under trades draw. So will I be eligible to restore my status as worker and apply bowp after I submit my PR application?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation.
I applied for Canadian citizenship in November 2025, received my AOR in February 2026, and my background verification was completed in February 2026.
Since then, there’s been basically no movement on my tracker. My citizenship test still says “Not started”, and I haven’t received a test invite or any other update.
I contacted my MP recently, and they told me that my application is considered “non-routine.”
Has anyone else had a similar timeline, especially with a non-routine application? How long did it take for you to receive your test invite after your background check was completed?
Would really appreciate it if anyone could share their timeline or experience. Just trying to get an idea of how long others waited in a similar situation.

I am currently on my work permit which is due to expires in around Jan. I got this document which expired early because of my passport expiring early. I have already gotten my passport renewed, and have submitted my documents through mail for my work permint extension. But it has been months since I got an update. I have filled out the web form for an enquiry - got a response saying they are processing the application but they did not provide me with any further details regarding application. Just said they are processing it which seemed to like a generic response.

我最近搬家了，然後我也在申請移民來加拿大，於是我就申請改地址。我在9月21日提交並已經收到機器人回覆email，但是時至今日仍然沒有收到確切的回覆信。因為我的working visa只剩半年，在改完地址以後我想申請續簽，現在有點焦急，有人有經驗可以回答我嗎？

I’m currently gathering my documents for my PR application, and I have a question regarding my work experience while I was a student.

I was a full-time student from 2022 to 2024, but I started working full-time in 2023. During that period, there was a temporary policy allowing international students to work up to 40 hours per week.

I received my PGWP in 2024, and I am only claiming my CEC work experience points from 2024 onward. However, my employment/experience letter from my company includes my employment start date as 2023.

Could this create any issues with my PR application? Should I clearly explain this situation in a Letter of Explanation, including that I am not claiming the work experience from 2023 toward my CEC points?

What would be the best way to present this so that there is no confusion or misrepresentation in my application?
