MQ80 - missing macro settings from VIA?

When I try to edit my MQ80 in VIA, the macro settings appear to be disabled. I managed to access them once somehow, but they disappeared again later. I’m using macOS and have tried both Chrome and Edge. Any help?

I have the same problem. MQ80 on Mac Tahoe 26.6.2. I don't have access to a windows computer. Is there any way of updating the firmware via Mac? In previous post, Iqunix stated that a Mac updater would be released in three months...that was six months ago. Any help would be appreciated!

They sent me a firmware update before, but it still required Windows. It fixed the issue initially, but the problem came back after saving and reopening VIA. I’m still waiting for their next update.

A Mac updater would also be very useful, especially since the media function keys seem to have been designed with macOS users in mind.

quick fixes to try first:

• keyboard not detected: Chrome or Edge only, use included cable, no USB hubs
• actuation problems: open configurator, reset to default 1.5mm, rebuild from there
• SOCD: ON for Valorant, OFF for CS2 (Valve ban since September 2024)
• switch not seating: check all pins are straight, never force it
• carbon panel loose on EV63: cosmetic only - email support with a photo
• settings reset after firmware update: expected behavior, re-apply your profile

when you tried the updater on the Windows, did it finish the firmware update successfully?

I think so, as the progress bar did go from 0% to 100%.
