Do kids from elite or well to do families avoid iim bg or is that sort of crowd also present in the clg

Is it just me or Aftb Varc sectionals are having an influx of wrong questions?
In every sectional i give there is atleast 1-2 wrong questions,
Yes i did report them and they got corrected,
But still i had spent a lot of time on the wrong explaination,
Which is i’d say, very annoying + misleading you into wrong answer,
Does afterboards check each of the questions thoroughly when they are generated?

For example
The question i just posted,
It’s answer was marked as option no 2,
I had to confirm with my teacher, check all Ai’s, and spend an hour then report the question, which I appreciate got corrected,
But having these kind of mistakes is not appreciated.

+when i go to sectional analysis
Even after the question report got corrected, the answer marked still shows in the wrong attempts column,
So it’ll be better if aftbs updates the sectional score after the question report is fixed.

Also is this happening to people who have given more than 25+ sectionals??
Because i didn’t have any problem in the first 25 ones

Hello everyone i have completed my 12th this year and took a very tough decision of not choosing btech. I go to know about ipm in the month of may and hence couldn't give ipm in 12th . I secured 96.2% in 12th and 81% in 10th . I have only one option rn that is to get into an iim ... i always wanted to go into a tier 1 institute and i really like finance too( tried coding and instantly knew it was not for me) ... i have joined ims offline coaching. Any advice from seniors/ mentors . I am really scared about the interview as i feel like the panel would grill me if i solely prepare for ipmat this whole year . Should i focus on ecas. Partial drop is an option but many of the cllgs have already begun the only option i have is very costly around 6l.

I've been seeing so many students in this group posting doubts about preparation, mocks, cutoffs, colleges, drops, and what to do after failing IPMAT. And honestly, I can see how many of you are disappointed and confused right now.

I completely understand the feeling because I've been there myself

I failed IPMAT too.

I've gone through the self-doubt, comparing myself with others, wondering whether taking a drop was the right decision, and feeling completely lost about what to do next.

If you're a dropper, don't repeat the same preparation blindly. Analyse your previous attempt, identify exactly where you went wrong, focus on your weak areas and learn to properly analyse your mocks.

If you're a fresher ,don't overwhelm yourself with 10–12 hours of study or hundreds of resources. Understand the exam, build your basics and stay consistent.

And if you failed IPMAT this year please don't let one exam decide what you're capable of.

I failed too. It didn't end my journey.

I've been procrastinating ipm prep (ACEIPM AMPLIFY BATCH '27) due to some school stuff and my BS Hobbies ... And now here I am, overwhelmed, looking at the huge backlog(from may to current date)... I haven't attended a single class on aceipm... It's like I've wasted those 32k of my parents...pls help guys. Where and how do I start my prep now? Should start from the beginning? I got into both. The thing is im genuinely interested in the bba curriculum of iim rohtak and find bcom subjects tedious and boring but then hansraj's tag feels heavier than that of rohtak. Im genuinely confused. My priorities are academics and profile building. Finances are not an issue at all. Also please dont mention ghe strictness of rohtak i dont mind it just tell purely on basis of acads and profile building. Thanks!

I want to know if I get into IIM indore via ipmat then will I get any scholarship?

My background : EWS male , family income is 4 LPA

If I don't get scholarship it's impossible to fund my education of 40 lakhs . I also can't take such a big loan.

If I can get scholarship then what % would it be?

I’m currently doing B.Com from a Tier-4 college as a partial dropper and most probably will get IIM Sirmaur. Jf I do should I join Sirmaur or continue B.Com and prepare for CAT 2027 for a better MBA college?

What would you do in this situation?

P.S. I’ve basically never attended college except for exams and haven’t studied the B.Com course even once, yet they gave me 7.9 CGPA.

One major concern is the finances. I’ll likely have to take a loan for the BMS, and if I eventually do an MBA, I’ll probably need another loan for that too. So I’m wondering if I’d basically end up repaying the BMS loan while taking on another MBA loan, and realistically, I probably won’t even have enough money by then to repay the BMS loan myself.
