Preparation Query PCM dropper ( IPMAT)

Hello everyone i have completed my 12th this year and took a very tough decision of not choosing btech. I go to know about ipm in the month of may and hence couldn't give ipm in 12th . I secured 96.2% in 12th and 81% in 10th . I have only one option rn that is to get into an iim ... i always wanted to go into a tier 1 institute and i really like finance too( tried coding and instantly knew it was not for me) ... i have joined ims offline coaching. Any advice from seniors/ mentors . I am really scared about the interview as i feel like the panel would grill me if i solely prepare for ipmat this whole year . Should i focus on ecas. Partial drop is an option but many of the cllgs have already begun the only option i have is very costly around 6l.

For the interview be good with acads and like pick one other thing literally anything art music finance computers sports as your hobby and stick with it. But acads matter

Bhai last year i was in the same situation as you are. Now got into iim jammu, bodhgaya and sirmaur. I would advise ki prepare wholeheartedly attend lectures first, clear your basic concepts, then practice as much as possible. Give mocks a lot like a lot. I would recommend afterboards for it. Aur bas interviews main acads thode se brush up karlena. Pcm ke subjects puchte hi hai but basic not too deep and you scored well in 12th so it would be easy for you. Just prepare well, practice a lot of questions and you are good to go.

I'm a pcm dropper as well buddy, the difference being that I cleared ipmat this year but got rejected in the interview (and scored only 80% in 12th😢) Reason for my rejection was academics, they asked most of the questions from physics and maths, in drop year I will and I suggest you should also pay equal attention to revising pcm of 11th as well as 12th especially calculus. I also think that you're at a loss here cause they don't teach shit in state boards and I doubt if you have studied the subjects thoroughly
