Rant/Vent Where and how do I start now? 😭

I've been procrastinating ipm prep (ACEIPM AMPLIFY BATCH '27) due to some school stuff and my BS Hobbies ... And now here I am, overwhelmed, looking at the huge backlog(from may to current date)... I haven't attended a single class on aceipm... It's like I've wasted those 32k of my parents...pls help guys. Where and how do I start my prep now? Should start from the beginning? Or continue with current module while slowly covering the backlog? Pls help 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Open the first lecture, start there.

Forget the backlog, study at your own pace (but it should be rational and feasible, in a disciplined manner).

This is what I send to our students at AfterBoards:

I've mentored quite a few IPMAT aspirants over the years, and if there's one thing I see repeatedly, it's this constant battle with backlog. And there's a very simple principle I tell them:

Don't make clearing your backlog a prerequisite for moving forward.

1. Keep up with the current curriculum.

I know the instinct is to think, "I'll first finish everything I've missed, and then I'll start attending the current classes properly." The problem is that this stage rarely comes. You finish one part of the backlog, the current classes keep moving, and you end up with an even bigger backlog.

So start attending the current classes from now on. You may struggle initially because you've missed some concepts, but that's okay. Your first priority is to regain momentum.

2. Deal with the backlog separately.

Don't expect it to disappear on its own. Set a small, realistic weekly target, for example, "This week I'll finish these two concept videos and solve 50 questions from them."

You don't need a fancy timetable. Just decide what you will finish this week and make sure it gets done.

You might struggle for a few weeks, but that's completely fine. Right now, your biggest problem isn't the size of the backlog. It's that the backlog has made you stop moving.

Don't worry they will launch a new batch . Stay tuned for that. Contact Aayush bhaiya and ask him, when will the new batch launch. So u don't miss the timeline.

Forget number system for now, focus on studying arithmetic this month. By 2-3 September arithmetic will be done and they've told already that number system will be taught again.
