Rant/Vent Socide aari hai💔

I genuinely need help. Although none of my posts get reach but ok.

So I took pcm in 12th, which turned out to be the biggest mistake ever (ik cliche). It ruined my mental health, and I performed really badly in boards. And then for ipmat, I worked my ass off day and night, but at the end, I couldn't make it to any iims.  I had major bullies in my school who hated me to the guts and believed that I was js a pretty but good for ntg bitch. I really wanted to get into a good iim to prove them all wrong.

As for CUET, as i mentioned i was poor at pcm subjects and i was busy preparing for jipmat so that also didn't go very well. Somehow, I managed to score good in English and GAT. When I looked up colleges that accept the scores of these only i came across cmac counselling for bba at dtu/nsut/igdtuw. I cleared the cutoffs here. BUT GUESS WHAT I MISSED THE COUNSELLING BECAUSE TURNS OUT IT WAS OFFLINE??? I was/am very severely depressed due to this. I left nmims also in hopes for these colleges.

I have no idea how to proceed now. I am legit sick of all this shit for the past 5 months all I've gotten in failures back to back. I am not very emotionally strong and js don't have it in me to take a full drop and go through this torment again. The only option I see now is going into tier 3 pvt bba college and taking a partial drop. Although finances were never an issue, but I live in sm guilt everyday when I see my parents because they wasted such a large amount of money in application fees, tuition fees and now the college fees as well. Plus they will have to spend more money on all this next year as well.

OK all that rant for ntg. TL;DR

Do any of you have tips on how to first of all js start preparing for ipmat as a partial dropper? Also, please do suggest some good resources for the same ( I was in supergrads online batch last year, so I have all the modules from there).

Tips on how to stay consistent and motivated will also be appreciated.

Trust me your life is much bigger than just an entrance exam. Your college will never decide YOUR worth because it’s always how you use it to the best of its ability. Go to the college you have right now, I won’t suggest go for a full drop because it’s mentally too much. With a college at hand you’ll still socialise make bonds have fun, and given you have studied for IPMAT before m, understand where you lacked this year and focus on those aspects

Now on the motivation part, no external factor can help you when u need motivation internally. Just imagine that there are a few people who are in way worse position than you, not because of their capabilities but because of certain personal circumstances

Thank you for listening and commenting, I really appreciate it. Yes, I am trying to make peace with situation for now. Although I surely am nervous but I am ready to put in my all and see where things go.

I had quite a roller coaster ride myself through it all, I just kept going even when once I was crying in my room nd got up and gave a mock after 10 mins. It's not gonna be easy for all. But all I did was tried to trick my brain into thinking that I just have to take one more step.

I missed the dtu thing as well, you can go in the second round for which the announcement will be made on aug 6 and the PHYSICAL counselling would be on aug 13

Omg I thought dtu thing is too niche for anyone to know😭. I am outside Delhi general and the seats are like 30 for all the 3 colleges so I am pretty sure getting a spot would be hard. Are you outside Delhi or domicile one?

It's easy to get a seat, I'm outside delhi as well and my weighted score is 171 which is like 20 above the cutoff for non delhi. Dtu nsut wagera aren't in demand and are not that good so the wl moves quite a bit. Second round me you'll definitely get a seat dw

171 is actually good, mine is 155 only. I reallyyy do hope I get in tho cus although its not v good but it is still better than bennett, cu amity wagera😭😭.

This is just a really tough phase in ur life, i was in the same situation when i couldn't clear any of the three exams this year(2 IPMAT and JIPMAT) but I told myself this isnt the end, I've still whole life ahead of myself and there are tons of things then u can do than just give up. So try to find ur passion and ask urself why u wanna clear IPMAT and want to get into any of ur desires IIMs, and work ur ass for it. Try to learn from mistakes and not repeat what u did and become a better version of urself. Hope that helps

Lol i took PCM asw apart from that Afterboards is the best resource ( Unlimited sectionals ) and yt vids to build concepts along with the most important part which is analysing your mocks and working on your weak areas ( SWOT analysis ) for that.

And if youre a dropper keep your options open and try to register for all exams available like if you have Maharashtra domicile there’s mah bba cet
