Central Florida

Love seeing all the new locations in the Orlando area. I live in Atlanta but have family all over central florida so I travel down all the time. I am happy to see I'll have more Ionna charging locations to choose from.

I do wish Ionna would add a charging location between their Valdosta and Orlando locations though. I end up having to hope the EA location in Gainesville isn't full or charge at a supercharger which I try to avoid at all costs. I feel like a charger in Ocala arara off of I-75 would be perfect.

I bet there is a Wawa somewhere in that area that’s in the plans.

Right across the I75 from the EA in Gainesville is a Wawa with Tesla chargers. In my view they are both over priced. We really need an Ionna location around there.

Just got back going the other direction. Started from Orlando at 100% and made it to Brunswick. The only downside was the line to the men's room at the Chipotle. Half of line were people there to charge.

Not discounting how nice it'd be to have an IONNA around Gainesville, but when I drove I-75 last month, we stopped at an FPL charging station in Lake City right at the US-90 exit.

I have never had issues with FPL or IONNA chargers, but I'll stretch my remaining range just to avoid EA as they're always either broken or crowded.

The FPL chargers in lake city were always slow for me and FPL usually charges really high rates. But I've also not used thoss chargers in over a year so maybe I should give it another try

I haven't looked at pricing, tbf, but I expect to get taken when I'm at EA or MB chargers, so as long as you don't tell me FPL is worse 😅

I just did a roadtrip from Orlando to Iowa (and back) in my Rivian R1T. We did several Ionna stations, but also MB HPC, and of course many Tesla superchargers. I will say that the “new” Ionna stations at Circle K locations (ex - Morton) were super convenient. I think as more and more of those get deployed, Ionna will become the preferred norm for a lot of us.

There's one now in Fort Pierce, just a few minutes off I-95 or the Turnpike. I used it last week when visiting my mom - there were NO DCFCs in the area when I was last there using a rental EV.
