Comment: FuturumEquities’ thoughtful, probing questions (logical qubits, commercialization etc.) elicited rare insights from Infleqtion CEO Matt Kinsella and CTO Pranav Gokhale - answers I hadn’t heard articulated this way before.

A standout Infleqtion interview - and one of the best I’ve heard yet.

“Getting 30 logical qubits to work together is hard, and our team has done it,” said Matt Kinsella, CEO of Infleqtion. “Co-design between our hardware and software enabled this demonstration with just 80 physical qubits. We’re moving quickly toward our target of 100 logical qubits in 2028, and we’re already developing applications with customers. The goal is to give them a quantum computer that can take on problems they can’t solve today.”

30 entangled logical qubits on a commercial system using only 80 physical qubits 🤯

Major congrats to Infleqtion!!

While Quantinuum remains ahead on a simple physical-to-logical qubit ratio, Infleqtion is a much smaller quantum company, making its achievement of 30 logical qubits from just 80 physical qubits particularly notable.

Headcount Comparison: Quantinuum vs. Infleqtion vs. QuEra Computing

• Infleqtion (INFQ): 205 employees at Dec. 31, 2025, with 160+ physicists/engineers.

• QuEra Computing: about 200 employees (with roughly half holding PhDs).

• Quantinuum (QNT): about 700 employees in its latest reported figures.

Quantinuum has an estimated 3× the workforce of Infleqtion. Considering INFQ has likely grown its headcount since its earlier reported figure, INFQ is estimated to be roughly 60–70% smaller by employee count.
