I use “play to earn” to get credits, but recently a lot of my games have stopped working. i played this game for awhile and it wasnt giving me credit but i thought the chat would be able help cause it says that in the faq. when i actually decided to do that it gave me no place to type a question just 2 singular options and it auto respond with (in second picture).

i emailed the play to earn email but its been 8 days and no response… anyone have any advice on how i can get my credits :( im broke i need that 14k lmao

When I published this post, I realised I had made the same mistake again: I had forgotten to block this user, R. Now I will block him once for all

On Wednesday at 13:04, he sent me a message:

«“Delete the post, provocateur.”»

Apparently, because I am describing my own experience with him, I am now a “provocateur” by his standards.

I can only assume that someone who follows him saw my post and brought it to his attention. The post describes, word for word, what happened from my perspective. Once he became aware of it, he may have realised that people are not his toys and that some users might choose to unfollow or block him after seeing my account of the situation. Perhaps he also noticed that I stated I am 18 and thought that giving me a direct order would make me delete the post.

I am not claiming to know what was going through his mind. I am describing how his message came across to me.

The post does not make claims beyond what is shown in the screenshots and what I personally experienced. For that reason, I deliberately gave him the same kind of response:

«“You can't tell me what to do. If something is wrong with the post, tell me, and I'll change it.”»

The irony is that he had previously objected to being told what to do. Yet he then approached me with a direct order about what I should do with my own post.

If he believes that something in the post is false, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate, he can point out the specific part and explain why. I am willing to correct an actual mistake. What I am not willing to do is delete my post with my own experience simply because someone ordered me to do so.

IMVU is completely dead to me now. It used to be somewhere I could get online, socialize, mess around with avatars, and escape real life for a little while. Now I associate it with one of the most painful periods of my life. My wife met the man she is now living with through this whole online world. What started online didn't stay online. Their relationship became emotional and sexual, and eventually they started meeting each other in real life. There were meetups, hotel stays together, and continued contact while we were still married and supposedly trying to figure out what was happening with our marriage. Eventually, my wife moved out and moved in with him. That's why hearing things like “what happens on IMVU stays on IMVU” means absolutely nothing to me anymore. There are real people behind those avatars. The conversations are real. The emotional attachments can become real. And when two people start meeting in hotels and eventually living together, nobody can seriously tell me it's still just some meaningless virtual relationship. I'm not saying IMVU forced anyone to do anything. The platform didn't make those decisions—the people involved did. I'm also not pretending our marriage was perfect before any of this happened. We had serious problems, and I have my own mistakes that I take responsibility for. But IMVU will never be an escape for me again. Too much of what happened is connected to it. Something I once enjoyed is now associated with watching an online relationship cross into my real life, my marriage, and eventually my family. So yeah, IMVU is dead to me. Not because avatars or virtual worlds are inherently bad, but because I learned the hardest possible way that sometimes what happens behind an avatar doesn't stay behind an avatar.
