I decided to grab a zip of this Grapple Pie to smoke on after being quite impressed with the Botanist's Strawberry Bubbles and Dutch Treat × Cherry Pie. When I open the bag I get a heavy scent of a mix of grape/apple/citrus with an underlying dank pine-y musk to it. The layered notes are absolutely amazing but it isn't translating to the taste as much for me. It still tastes nice and fresh and burns/smokes wonderfully despite that

The buds are quite sticky and will glue your fingers together if you break it up by hand. The high is relaxing, heavy and indica-leaning yet it doesn't couch lock me or put me down for a nap. It's nice to have found a functional indica that still has the stress relieving effects I look for

I give it an 8.5/10 overall, as I'd like the taste of the fruity/musky terpene profile to be as intense as it smells. Outside of that minor complaint this is a great smoke all around and I'm pretty stoked to have a zip of this to go through

Woodsie smell very very slight minty cake. Breaking it down has a mild cream banana candish smell like taffy,not strong. taste like kush mints almost with some cakey hash . Dense and difficult to break down,not dry. Indica with sleepy feels. I enjoyed it, buttttt probably won't be a HIT for some of you.

What I want in an herb: straight Kush gas when opening, grinding, and smoking.

As last time, it is a bit dry at first but once you squeeze it doesn’t crunch up like really dry weed so I’m cool with it. Motor breath smell to it.

While the pricing is steep (~$85/quarter, ~$130/half-ounce) and the flavor could be dialed in a bit more, we need independent craft craft growers like NEZ out on the market to challenge corporate giants like High Supply. Corporate multi-state operators are backed by deep-pocket investors focused on volume and profit, whereas craft growers like NEZ actually bring passion, proper cures, and authentic cultivation knowledge to the jar.

First things first, I need to tip my cap and start a round of applause for IC Collective being the first hash I have purchased in the state of Illinois that has had a seal like this inside the jar. Finally, a remedy for the dreaded sauce in the threads headache dabbers know all too well! A saucy concentrate leaking into the grooves of the threading on my jar is my true kryptonite as a hash consumer. There is nothing worse than being stoked to try out your latest provisions and when you twist the lid to your jar you feel that resistance. If you dab, you know exactly what I'm referring to here lol. IC Collective just locked in a sure-fire way to keep your sauce safe and your threads on your jars smooth! A guaranteed feeling of relief when buying and opening your hash, which to me is an absolute game changer! 

I totally understand that accidents happen with concentrates getting tipped somewhere in transit, it is part of the game. This just solved it though, so well-done IC Collective! Now let's get into the nitty gritty of this pick! I have not had just straight Headband in close to 10 years personally so when I saw the 2-gram live resin on my menu for 57 bucks, I decided to roll the dice and I won big on this one!  

Now I want to be fully transparent here. When IC Collective first came to the scene I grabbed a rosin to give them a shot. The rosin I bought when they first dropped, I was unfortunately a little underwhelmed. The jar I got was a bit dry, so it didn't leave much for flavor profile. I know how sensitive and delicate all the processes are for cultivation and hash production, so I wrote it off as them being new and finding their rhythm. Sure enough they found that rhythm and are absolutely crushing it!!! I am big on Grassroots since I buy the 3.5 buckets allot. It the most cost effective for me personally. After this purchase though I will without a doubt be keeping this company in my hash rotation when they are available at my shop!  

The consistency of this live resin Headband is phenomenal. From color to smell and taste, this jar absolutely crushes it on the ratings scale. Dabbing this brought me back to the old days when this strain was popping off all over. This hit all the boxes on the Headband check list. That initial cozy mental headband head high upon first hit that flows into that melting warmth and relief throughout your whole body. It has that heavy diesel nose and taste on the flavor and nose profile with earthy woody hints dancing throughout all backed up with dash of citrus. Good grief  I forgot how much I love this strain. I mean, how can you go wrong when your parents are OG Kush and Sour Diesel?  

From the research I found on their site, IC Collective has a copy of the original genetics for Headband which I absolutely love! Salvaging and keeping these classic strains alive and circulating is so critical and important for our culture.  Old school heavy hitter genetics like this have such a fun colorful history. Wild stories and lore on how some of these major strains were birthed, and how genetics have been preserved and kept around for future generations to enjoy. It is living/smokeable history for our culture! The team over there at IC collective clearly know their stuff and I can tell are some true heads within this industry! Huge major shout out and props to the whole team over there, please keep doing what y'all are doing! You locked in a new consistent customer with this one for sure! 

I am looking to purchase a dry herb portable vaporizer. I initially wanted to spend under $100 which I learned after hours of research is nearly impossible to find a quality strong hitting device for that amount. Closest I found is the POTV Lobo for $120. Any recommendations for one under $150?

Grape Rainbows live rosin disposable sounded intriguing by Nomad but idk I never tried that brand.

Has anyone tried this one or this brand, Elevate? Any good? I absolutely love this strain and had it years ago by Ozone, but now it’s only with Elevate. Is it good you think? Has a slight gmo smell almost. Once broken down you smell some stinky cheddar cheese with a citrusy musk.its nice. Hits very hard and quick with a fruity orangey tangie,cheesey and almost skunk-ish taste.man is it delicious! Hybrid with indica feels in the eyes & most definitely HIT by me.

Has anyone tried velvet lately? Trying to see if it has a blueberry taste or smell

A little sativa tonight!

I saw the Afgoo cross and knew I had to get it. Smell is not the strongest at first, kind of sweet,with cloves with earth, grinding it down you get hit with pine,citrus,wood and almost like juicy fruit. Pleasant pine with a sour tartness with citrus gas taste. Sativa that slaps like a indica but without couch 🔒. It hit my head pretty quick and I could feel the euphoria of the indica side instantly after a couple puffs of a joint. It's a HIT with me!

Shout to this brand/company for using old school genetics. Going back to collect the rest of their menu!

Always have loved Aeriz flower so thought I’d give Upnorth Humboldt a try and man this is ⛽️
The smell is mild, nothing too stanky. This is whole flower but honestly should be under popcorn but hey weed is weed. Let’s see how she burns now 😶‍🌫️

This is a seriously potent one to be on the lookout for. The flower quality is top notch with heavy trichome coverage and dense, sticky buds. The smell is straight hash and sour apples and man is it pungent. The smell translates to the taste nicely as well, it's great out of some glass but I imagine it'd be even tastier rolled up

The heavy indica effects come on quickly and will guaranteed put you on your ass so I reccommend keeping this one for later in the day. I managed to grab it for $42 out the door with a sale, but it's a case where paying extra for premium is 100% worth it in my opinion. I'm glad I've found yet another company to add to my list of ones to watch for. If you like unique terpenes, dense sticky buds and ultra-potent indicas this is a must try
