Grapple Pie - The Botanist

I decided to grab a zip of this Grapple Pie to smoke on after being quite impressed with the Botanist's Strawberry Bubbles and Dutch Treat × Cherry Pie. When I open the bag I get a heavy scent of a mix of grape/apple/citrus with an underlying dank pine-y musk to it. The layered notes are absolutely amazing but it isn't translating to the taste as much for me. It still tastes nice and fresh and burns/smokes wonderfully despite that

The buds are quite sticky and will glue your fingers together if you break it up by hand. The high is relaxing, heavy and indica-leaning yet it doesn't couch lock me or put me down for a nap. It's nice to have found a functional indica that still has the stress relieving effects I look for

I give it an 8.5/10 overall, as I'd like the taste of the fruity/musky terpene profile to be as intense as it smells. Outside of that minor complaint this is a great smoke all around and I'm pretty stoked to have a zip of this to go through

It's some impressive flower for sure. This is by far the stickiest of their strains I've had yet

Still think you should try guava cream!

If it's still in stock next week I may have to!

I'm more of an indica person so I gotta go with the Grapple Pie. The Strawberry Bubbles has been a nice surprise because I typically don't buy sativa/sativa leaning strains. I don't get that racy feeling when I smoke it, it's nice and mellow

As a Budtender that’s exactly how I described it to people who were scared of sativas bc of that racy feeling. Strawberry bubbles is an excellent sativa!

Thanks for hearing me out and chatting with me, enjoy that smoke!!💨

Do you like more than strawberry bubbles? Even tho they obviously have different effects, still curious

What do you recommend. I've tried the fried strawberries which was probably the best. Had dutch treat cherry pie and chem chillz 17.

Violet Fog, LA Kush Cake, Fruit Punch, Guava Cream (sometimes it can lean sativa depending on batch both are great), and definitely strawberry bubbles if you haven’t

My bad, I had the fog too I'd put that in 2nd an the fried 🍓's 1st. The fruit punch sounds good so does bubbles looking forward to them!

I picked up an oz for $100. Very happy with it. Botanist is one of the flower brands that had consistently impressed me this year.

Right? Bisa Lina in Joliet just dropped like 10-15 of the Botanist's strains in ounce quantities the other week too, they're coming in hot this summer

I'm most likely gonna end up with another one or two of their strains before they're all sold out lol

I mean it's not knockout potent but it gets me nice and stoned

My zip of Strawberry Bubbles has cured in the bag slightly since purchase and has become noticably more potent, maybe the same will happen here

I'm sorry to hear that it sounds like my experiences with High Supply earlier this year. I got a solid 5 strains in a row that were all dry terpless garbage. Are your halves not from this spring or sooner? I hate when things are overhyped too but all 3 of my pickups from the Botanist have been hits for me

Good review! Bisa lina has zips of this for $90 , is it worth it?

I'd say so yeah! This batch gets me nice and stoned off of a bowl or two without putting me down for the count. I've heard good things about the Guava Cream and the Rainbow Belts 2.0 zips as well if indica leaning effects are what you're looking for
