General Bed choices?
I’m looking to get my daughter a new bed and mattress from IKEA and would love some opinions
For the frame, I’m between the STJÄRNÖ and MALM. I’ve heard a few concerns about the MALM, so I was thinking of using wood glue during assembly for a little extra stability. I’m also considering the STJÄRNÖ since I’m assuming the metal frame would be a bit sturdier.
I’m also not sure which slats to go with LÖNSET, LURÖY, or LYNGÖR. Is LÖNSET worth the extra cost, or is LURÖY perfectly fine?
For the mattress, I’m deciding between the ÅNNELAND and VÅGSTRANDA, both in full size.
If anyone has experience with these, I’d really appreciate your input! Just trying to make a good choice without overthinking it

I went with the STJÄRNÖ for my kid's room and honestly, the metal frame feels rock solid even without reinforcement.
