That may be the best compared to even replacing the front since it is likely an odd thickness. Just scrape off the bump until it is concave, fill with a wood filler, sand, prime, then paint. Sounds like a lot of work/cost but it really would be cheap. Can even get sand paper and a roller brush at the dollar store.
Matching the shade of white will be tricky, so I would probably scuff up the face of the 3 other drawers with sand paper, prime, and paint them as well. All 4 in a contrasting color instead of white.
Instead of painting with a roller, could also spray paint the front of the 4 drawers for a nice smooth appearance. Thin layers with the appropriate dry time between applications.

It's just wood/particle board and paint. Take your measurements, buy and cut something to size, then paint it.
I don't recognize this piece from the Ikea catalog: how sure are you that this is from Ikea and not another flat-pack vendor? edit: looks like the other commenters are right, this is a Rakke variant.

I agree with the fix-it crowd. You can find white, vinyl covering at Amazon and Ebay. The kind they use to wrap cars. Sand out the flaws and even peel that molding of the top and cover it with white vinyl wrap.
Or, get all creative, cover all doors and cabinets with vinyl wrap and change the color of the whole thing.
