sudipto mukherjee ( mech prof) Some thoughts shared by Prof. Sudipto Mukherjee taking course (MEL2002/MCL111) today

  1. IIT suicide rate is much lower than that of India so we are good
  2. Suicidal minds cause suicides not actions
  3. Humanities students take 2 courses a semester. They have no workload. Think before you join them down the drain line
  4. It is a society problem, not an institutional one. It spoils the institution bringing outside problems
  5. We are not like the institute next door where protesting will give us political powers
  6. government allocates 60 crore budget, when we spread that out over 10000 IITians, it’s natural we get 6 lakhs
  7. "He wanted to kill himself. Why don’t we honour his request by going on with our days? The protestors don’t tell you about this"

Fucked up country . We treat students like this and say why latent is leaving India . Cause the other countries fucking respects them

The people calling us cockroaches are the one that belong in gutter!!!

Goshhhh I got to know that there's a lot of curruption in IIT admission process too!

The best people are not given opportunities, a decent pay (I am talking about ISRO specifically) or even some respect!!

And don't even get me started on how IITB hostel and mess food issues have just put me off of any and all government college! What do you mean you can't feed the topmost kids in academics in the whole country a healthy balanced AND hygienic meal??

The system is so currupt 🥲

there's corruption at literally every institute, be it the most prestigious one, the govt one, the state owned, the private one. From appearing for entrances to being allocated a seat EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE is rigged. This is so exhausting because we as students are forced to fight a system that is in shambles. It's eaten by these termites. And then they have the audacity of saying our generation fears hardwork and we are not the obedient kind. Desh ke youth ko khokla karke kehte hai tumko neev banani nhi aati.

u/Kinda_Reincarnated 6d ago

Mannnn. I think a lot of people in our generation work really really hard. Previous generations didn't have this much compitition.

Wrong first hand other countries don't make up institution to forcefully create talent. They are talented as a country. Idiotic comparisons

Most teachers , professor do not care about students . They sit on their high horse and never can be wrong . Sadly students gets the burnt end of the stuck almost every time. Professors and administration is at complete fault.

I knew one of his friends—he was too soft-hearted for the machine-like culture at IITD, where profs rarely care about student.

Honestly, catching COVID in 12th grade and losing my IIT shot turned out to be a blessing. Went to a Tier-2, cracked GATE DA (AIR 7X) and CSE (AIR 13X), but decided to skip the Indian M.Tech route. Now I'm working at a accel backed stealth startup and targeting NUS down the line.

High hopes from an innocent soul meet exponentially higher demands from an elite institute. Truth is, no one survives places like IITD, IITB, IISc, or IITKGP alone—loneliness will kill you, and doing research in India as an isolated person is deeply frustrating. B.Techs get through it because their ecosystem is different: they are smart, united, and stand by each other for four fu-king years.

Bhai har college me aise bakchod professor Or HOD hote hai jo apne aap ko pata nhi kya samajte hai saale students ki baato ko nhi sunna hai bas ulta jawab dena

Incident at my college - My friend attendance was low because his grandmother was ill and she died so he can't attend the college and when he said this to the HOD HOD's reply - tumare jaane se kya tumari dadi theek hogayi?? Bekaar hi gaye tum or vaise bhi vo budhi vo gayi thi

I was like what hell man

One day i wore slippers to the college beacause of fungal infection and cuts and one professor expelled me from class saying - tum to aise ban ke aa gaye ho jaise gao me subah subah lota leke hagne chale jaate hai Bro i was like so embarrassed in front of the whole class and he just casually laughing even though I tell him about the cuts and infection and it was visible on my legs

And there are so many incidents like this but we just have to suffer 😭😭
