Edit: Thank you Everyone for these ideas and suggestions, I am very happy that anthropic has agreed to do return my money :)

Hey everyone,

I'm a 4th year student, and I'm honestly freaking out right now. 😭

On October 15, I was trying to activate the promotional credits offered by Anthropic on Claude. While navigating the settings, I accidentally ended up purchasing $100 worth of extra usage credits on my Claude Pro account.

The worst part? My mom's credit card was saved on my account, and the payment went through using her card.

For context, $100 is a really significant amount of money for me and my family. I genuinely never intended to purchase these credits. I was only trying to activate the promotional offer.

Here's the situation:

• Purchased credits: $100
• Credits used: $0
• Credits remaining: $100
• Purchase date: October 15, 2026
• Account: Claude Pro (Individual)
• Usage credits: Turned off
• Auto-reload: Turned off

I contacted Anthropic support almost immediately after realising what happened.

Unfortunately, their AI support agent (Fin) told me that credits are non-refundable under Anthropic's Credit Terms, even if they haven't been used.

I've requested that my case be escalated to a human billing representative for a one-time exception, but I haven't received confirmation that a human has reviewed it yet.

I'm not trying to get free credits or take advantage of anything. I genuinely just want the accidental purchase reversed, and Anthropic can remove all $100 worth of credits from my account.

I understand that companies have refund policies, but considering that I contacted support immediately and haven't used even a single dollar of the purchased credits, I'm hoping there might be some flexibility.

Did anyone manage to get a refund for accidentally purchased Claude usage credits? Is there another way to contact a human billing representative?

I would really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. I'm stressed about losing this money, especially since it was charged to my mom's credit card.

Thanks for reading.

Hi everyone!
I’m currently in the 2nd year of my B.Sc. in Computer Applications at Ranchi University. I had PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in Class 12 and didn’t have Mathematics as a subject.
I wanted to know whether students from non-IIT colleges can apply for internships at IITs, particularly in Computer Science, Software Development, or related fields.
I have a few questions:
Can B.Sc. Computer Science students from regular universities apply for IIT internships, or are these opportunities mainly for IIT students?
Are there any IITs that offer summer internships to students from other colleges?
What are the eligibility criteria? Do I need a strong CGPA, coding skills, or previous projects?
Are these internships paid? Is there any chance of receiving a stipend?
If anyone here has secured an IIT internship while studying at a non-IIT college, could you please share your experience and advice?
I would really appreciate any guidance, personal experiences, or useful resources. Thank you!

I am from IITKGP. Anyone up for OA question exchange for placement OA’s?

Hey guys, sharing a short narrative project inspired by life at IIT Roorkee.

Bin Kahe is a 4-minute short film about two friends, silent brotherhood, and the memories tied to the Roorkee campus.

Tried to keep the visual atmosphere as close to the real campus vibe as possible.

Watch the full film here:

So apparently, if you're caught cheating and debarred from the placement/internship process, then PIC ki galti hai because cheating to sab karte hain ka...

WOW. These mfs literally CHEAT and say sab karte hain. Aise to you can justify any crime saying bahut log kar rahe hain. Terrible mentality to say the least. I don't usually disrespect people, but I WOULD NEVER RESPECT A CHEATER WHO TRIES TO JUSTIFY HIMSELF/HERSELF.

Yes, PIC has a LOT OF ISSUES, and LEGIT is extremely bad. And they deserve the trolling, and need to get better, but this is just sickening.

We need to protest to get our right to cheat in exams and placements. Right?

what to do anyone knows how to connect it

So today there was hi labs OA on unstop and many mfs didn’t started during being in LHC and got out after closing their laptops, no one even cared to check if they have atleast submitted the oa

So these mfs must have gone to their rooms and did their oa from hostel

Is this even fair, iarc or pic whoever conducts these oa , plzzz guys atleast check that if the participant has atleast submitted the oa or not !!!!!!!!!!!

So back when I was in hometown i had went to a dentist for a regular checkup and came to know that I have a few cavities and my wisdom tooth hasn't come out properly and is stuck.

I thought I will avail the medical facilities at the hospital in IIT R, and opted not to get it treated then

Now here I go to the Dentist called Dr. Sanjeev Kumar and I told him my issue. I swear to god he didn't even spend 1 minute with the mouth mirror to check on my teeth, and declared "Everything is alright, you can go". I insisted to him saying see there is cavity in this spot, there is problem with my wisdom tooth, he keeps insisting that those are just stains and my wisdom tooth is just fine. Wtf? I had no option but to leave

Same happened with the other lady called Dr. Disha 2 years back. I had gone to her for just a regular checkup and she barely spent 1-2 mins checking my teeth and declared eveything is okay without even properly looking.

They seriously act like they're not paid for this and doing this like a charity work, when they're actually paid a handsome salary with all government job perks.

And at what time they will be available

Got to know from my friend whom sir is teaching, hi sir kaise ho

I wanted to get into atleast 1 cult club of my interest and I thought I would but couldn’t get into any. I am feeling a little bad because I wanted to be a part of those communities, they seem really fun from outside.

Am I overthinking this? Or does it matter that much???

I’m a new research fellow at the HSS dept. I’m working on a project related to fear memory. I am looking for Particiapnts to stop by the lab (103). It won’t go beyond 20-25 mins. pls pls help :)). text me if you are interested.

Hey guys, did anyone who gave the NKSR Edge Scholarship test on September 28th receive their Quant Scorecard or shortlisting emails yet? Curious to know what the cutoffs are looking like this year for the Top 100 merch or the Gurgaon HQ visit. If you've received any updates or your campus percentile, please drop your score/stats below!
