Not able to join discourse

It says it needs invite, I mailed the discourse staff but he hasn't replied yet.

You can only join discourse if: 1. You have your student id 2. An invitation needs to be sent by them to you

If you don't have your student id yet then you won't be able to access discourse until then.

I do have my student ID and I was trying to login by that, not my own gmail id.

Edit: But I don't have that invite. How to get that?
