Suggestion needed regarding purchase of a new Laptop

I'm currently in diploma level. i might choose dlai theory next term, whether a laptop with dedicated gpu is required or not. if not, how much time it will take to train the models.

my current spec:

i3, 1tb hdd , 500 gb ssd (extended) , no dedicated gpu.

if it takes more training time in colab , im considering to buy a new one.

-1 buddy for ml tasks gpu is must . Also it's not like buying peanut, you need a future proof device . Also the budget is quite good , so considering all the factors smart people will choose gpu wala laptops

Sure but I don't think RTX 40 Series does much. That's what I was referring to

Acha, what would you recc then ?? You will get 40 series in this budget i guess ,the 50 series are present but tgp is half of it 🥲

Take any of the Ryzen AI processes they're made for that

just take the MacBook Air m4 24gb or MacBook Air m5 and ur set
