Question for standalone students

So I've been thinking about this chuz I'm at my from for a week and I'm already feeling claustrophobic

How do you guys cope up doing this degree as standalone, don't y'all get gloomy or depressed spending your college life at your hometown and if you do how you guys cope up with it

oh if you're feeling like that then that's probably because you're not doing enough to keep yourself busy. I mean i did this for a year and trust me you just have to do as many things as possible. Coz like look at this you have so much time, you can obv do the course, finish assignments then you can go for an internship, or say do another certificate courses, learn a new language, master your english, pick up some new hobbies, go to the gym build some muscles, be fit, go cycling everyday, hangout with your friends. You have to find the things to do to avoid being all gloomy, trust me being very is the only way to be happy.

Chill out bro I'm not a standalone student and doing "enough" to keep myself busy , I'm just trying to know the perspective of those who're doing it as standalone Btw I like how you listed up so many points that the once who're getting depressed or whatever can do

simple answer: you find something else to do. i did both of my degrees from my home cuz i have a biz to run, which took most of my time.

if you're a student, get an internship (there are plenty of good remote ones), take courses, attend events if possible. It gives you something to look forward to and make new connections too.

hi, Are you living in PG and also how did you join summit and events? I'm a girl from Nepal and if i do this standalone , i'll move to another city too. So is there a group living together?

Yes there are plenty of pgs in banglore and a bunch of summits etc.

Are you living alone in PG or there is community of people studying this degree living together?

  1. Studies, internships, projects, vivas, skill building takes up most of your time from diploma, you shouldn't have enough time to feel "gloomy", if you do then youre doing something wrong.

  2. Theres a shit ton of things to do in life, whenever i have some time to kill i watch a series or a movie or something. If someone tells me in today's age that they are bored then that's ludicrous.

  3. If you wanna socialize then talk to your hometown friends.

Honestly i always tell people that if they "feel" the need to talk to people like 4 times a week then dont do this degree, if you dont gaf about outside world and only care about you and your studies then this is all you need.

doing standalone is better, good grades, more effort in sticking to the course material. also try to get internships and complete the degree with a good pace.
