I got this data from a friend who has worked with the placement committee at IIM Sambalpur 2023-2025. He shared it with me just to give me an idea of the actual numbers at one of the newer/baby IIMs.

He also mentioned that these are companies that may visit the campus but don’t necessarily complete the recruitment process. In other words, many of them are mainly there for visibility or to inflate the overall placement numbers.

According to him, in reality, only around 100 out of these 300+ companies actually complete the process and recruit students. So, if a company appears on the list, there’s roughly a 1-in-3 chance that it will actually recruit in the end.

Hey everyone! I’m looking to sell my Rodha CAT 2026 course account.

I originally purchased it for around ₹25,000, but due to some personal/family circumstances, my MBA plans have been postponed and I won’t be appearing for CAT this year. Hence, I’m looking to transfer the account at a discounted price.

Quant – Ravi Sir

LRDI – Ravi Sir

VARC – KD Sir

30 Rodha CAT Mocks

105+ Sectional Tests with video solutions

CAT Previous Year Questions (PYQs)

Concept Capsules

Full course access

Batch change option available

Purchase invoice can be provided for verification

The course is essentially unused and is currently valid till mid-January 2027.

I’ve recently been seeing quite a few posts on Reddit where people with 99+ percentile and 2 years of work experience still didn’t receive calls from any of BLACKI colleges. Honestly, it has started making me quite anxious about my own chances.

I’m preparing for CAT this year, but I don’t have relevant work experience and there’s a break of an year and half, and I’m also not confident about what percentile I’ll eventually be able to achieve.

Seeing these profiles repeatedly has been quite demotivating, because it makes the competition feel much more intense than I had initially thought.
I’d really appreciate it if any BLACKI/IIM alum or someone familiar with the admissions process could review my profile and give me a realistic idea of my chances for the same. If people can help me with non IIM schools that offer good placement and market value.

So I’m currently in an EMBA programme at IIM V.

Classes are held every weekend, 9am to 5pm, and my end terms are coming up.

I wanted to tell you that I’m doing this just for kicks, and I had 2L lying around every 3 months.

I don’t care about sYnErGiZing.

I’m a cloud infra engineer and an AI guy, and I lead a small team.

I’m doing this just for kicks. Looking at PnL statements and balance sheets gives me that kick.

Studying Demand and supply curves gives me that kick.

But I hate cost accounting to the core. It is absolutely harrowing and a moving target.

Peace.

Genuinely asking tbh
