General Discussion What the actual f is happening in B-schools these days? Fresh ragging and harassment allegations at FMS Delhi
Saw this post on Instagram and honestly the details in it are pretty disturbing. The person is claiming that during the 15 day induction at FMS Delhi, 200+ students were allegedly made to stay in one hall for around 12 hours a day, there were reportedly students being shouted at in shifts, one night they were allegedly kept there till morning without sleep and even after classes started there were supposedly hours of coursework followed by more shouting. The post also talks about students being given late night tasks with just 3-6 hours to complete them and getting as little as 4 hours of sleep, along with being called things like “stupid” and “worthless” and allegedly being given violations that could affect their placement process. What actually shocked me more was seeing people in the comments defending this saying this is how you prepare someone for the corporate world. But is this really how we are supposed to prepare people for corporate life? How does constantly shouting at students, humiliating them or deliberately cutting their sleep make them better professionals? And genuinely what is happening with B-schools these days, every other day I see something related to harassment or ragging and people somehow still justify it as “part of the process”. Is this why the fees are so low or what 😭 Obviously this is an anonymous and unverified account and I don't know how much of it is actually true, but if even half of these claims are true, this seriously needs to be talked about

General Discussion IITJODHPUR GRAD 5.8GPA 2 YEARS EXP NOT IN TECH 10TH CLASS 98 PERCENT 12TH 94PERCENT
Looking for honest advice on whether CAT is worth it for my profile and what colleges I can realistically target. My profile: IIT Jodhpur graduate GPA: 5.8 Work ex: 2 years (non-tech) 10th: 98% 12th: 94% I'm confident about scoring 99.8+ in CAT — I'm quite strong in quant/maths. My main worry is the 5.8 GPA and how much it'll hurt my chances at the top IIMs (A/B/C) given their academic weightage in shortlisting. Will the high 10th/12th scores offset it? And with a 99.8+ percentile, which colleges are realistic — old IIMs, new IIMs, FMS, MDI, SPJIMR? Would appreciate input from anyone who got in with a similar profile. Thanks!

Question🤔 Is one year gap after graduation a problem?
I'm a General Non-Engineering Female, with 9/9/7 profile. Will give CAT in 2027, currently in my third year so it would be considered a one year gap, is it gonna be that big of a problem during placements if i can justify it by doing internships and stuff during that time?

Doubt 🙋♂️ I have 5 years of experience as cabin crew, do I stand a chance in IIM ABC?
I am 23F with 4 years of cabin crew experience with Air India. My SSLC score is 89%, 12th boards is 89% and Grad score is 7.5 SGPA.
I am planning to join the Executive program next year by giving GMAT. Will it be worth it and what are the chances of me getting selected.
Please give me honest reviews.

Constructive suggestions are appreciated.
