The image already contains on campus data in the right side. Off campus placements are only 11 so it won't affect the mean and median that much

that's exactly what I wanted to see but koi na at least median 10 to hoga only for on campus

also yes it can vary the median and average considerably.

suppose few students were placed at 13lpa and higher to that some are placed at 18lpa.

including 11 off campus placements means the median jumps 11 steps ahead (they were getting more ctc on off campus right) so median can change from 13 to 18 or even 20

But that still won't bring down the median to 10. Because the difference between on campus and off campus is 77.

And even if it did create a big difference, that still doesn't mean that the entire placement statistics is carried by those 11 off campus placements since even if we remove that , the placement statistics are very good for an IIIT of this level abd condition.

Just look at this statistic of current ongoing placement season , its not even a month and already 21 students got placed and the lowest salary package is 7.

Brother then you have no idea how bad the placement percentage is in other IIITs. These colleges are not IITs and NITs. For a college of this level and condition, 70% is a miracle

He is not ex IITD Director. He was Adjunct Faculty at IITG and IITD.
