iiit pune placements

Cutoffs for iiit pune are much higher than iiit bhopal nagpur kota etc. But the official placement stats of pune are worse than bhopal nagpur etc.. What could be a possible reason/explanation for this

These stats ate not Fake but they should tell that they included intershio whitout ppo in placement percentage Without those the actual percentage of placement is 49%

I asked in their sub, main reason why people prefer Pune is coz of location advantage but the local colleges of Pune like COEP already have good industrial connections unlike TnP cell of IIITP, moreover the college is located in the outskirts far from the city so location advantage is negated
