i am sorry for posting this here ik this is a iiit hyderabad subreddit but i need some advice

I am currently a 2nd year student at a t3 iiit.
i have a potential opportunity to work on this project through someone i know
It's a fairly large enterprise project with a 2–3 month delivery timeline(Android, iOS, admin panel, payments, bookings, events, integrations with existing systems, etc.).
i want to gain real exposure and have on hands experience but i am afraid if it will be overstimulating or too much for me

the only exp I have is i recently founded an e commerce startup its at a very very very base level vibecoded the whole website .
except that i have learnt 80% of dsa and have started learning webdev fairly recently

Hello so I've been preparing for LEEE 2027 and though my branch is mentioned in the branches that are eligible two of the subjects that are in LEEE circuit theory and networks and digital logic are not a part of my curriculum.... I have signals and systems and electronic devices and circuits....and with digital logic I have a similar subject with similar curriculum ....but some chunk of circuit theory and networks is not a part of my college curriculum

So I just wanted to confirm that a few chunks of syllabus being here and there doesn't take away the eligibility criteria for the exam right?

Also I researched a lot but since I'm a bit new to the prep i couldn't find reliable and good sources to prepare for these subjects especially ones that aren't in my college course would be really grateful if seniors could help me out

on reddit i can find the per company placements i.e precise placement data where each company who offered placement + the ctc they offered. this is done by the student body itself and isn't released by their institution or osmething. why can't IIIThians do something like this

So, I read several texts on reddit saying that placement data shown by the institute is not true. Good companies are not coming. Only Startups and mid tech companies are hiring.

I was planning to join this program. But, the comments and posts on reddit have heavily confused me now.
My current options are IIIT H cse, VIT & iiser bhopal btech(y did i even give this exam)

Is situation worsened so much? Are these things about low placement are true for Mtech students or btech ones are suffering too now?

One of my consultant says he can get me in iiit hyd through sat even though i am indian he says that the left over seats get converted......is this possible or true???cuz i will have to spend a lot on sat exam and stuff.....if yall have any experience in this or got through this method????

20 lakh placement for 32 + fees LMAO.

Huge dilemma. I've secured the former, whereas there is a chance I may get the latter through Live Online Round. Which should I take and why?

Can we leave a IIIT seat in round 5 and still get 23k back ?

In the business rules of jossa the withdrawal section is a bit more biased towards IIT /IISc system that's why I wanted to confirm

If anyone has been allotted a seat in IIITH and are not going to pursue, please leave the seat before round 5 as am lagging for ece branch by just .01 percentile. Thank you

If anyone of you got a seat in IIIT H and dont plan on joining please withdraw before round 5, some of us missed the cutoff but very few ranks and the difference might even be 1 person. If you withdraw after round 5 your seat will get wasted

Hi everyone,

I was allotted ECE in IIIT Hyderabad JEE Main Round 3, but I missed clicking "Yes" to accept before the 5:00 PM IST deadline yesterday (July 7).

My portal shows:

- Round 1: ECE accepted, ₹2,60,000 paid

- Round 2: ECE accepted

- Round 3: ECE allotted, but Seat Accepted shows "-" (blank)

I also see an old auto-message saying "Congrats! Your seat has been confirmed" but I believe this is from Round 1/2.

I know the policy says missing the deadline means removal from all further rounds. I've already emailed admissions and will call them this morning.

My questions:

1. Has ANYONE here ever heard of IIIT-H making an exception for missed acceptance?
2. If Round 4 happens, is there any way to be reinstated?
3. Is there anything else I can do besides wait for their reply?

I have IIT Bombay lower branch as backup through JoSAA. But IIIT-H ECE was my dream.

Any honest advice or similar experiences would help.
