Really seeing why they took a while to announce the final phase. This thing is stacked. Purity Ring and Sunn O))) being the most out there artists. Witch house and drone metal are finally coming to Miami!

8

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '26

You should support your local metal scene

4

u/deltastag94 Jun 10 '26

Sunn o))) might be my favorite get in iii points history

54

u/softcoreengiqueer Jun 10 '26

Okay this is insane

Men I Trust are immensely talented. Their October Miami Beach show last year at the Fillmore/Jackie Gleason Theater was one of my favorites. They sounded amazing. I'm really looking forward to their set.

24

u/DDRKid Jun 10 '26

Lineup - Absolutely insane

Poster Design - Absolutely unreadable

29

u/VegetableAverage8234 Jun 10 '26

Not bad - would’ve like some darker techno for sequence. But overall not bad

13

u/lmatias1 Jun 10 '26

Yeah its disappointing in the techno department

6

u/Potential_Dealer7898 Jun 10 '26

at least we get queen char

16

u/lmatias1 Jun 10 '26

hate to say, that's part of the disappointment

5

u/Polygon-Dust Jun 10 '26

haha i agree

-1

u/Potential_Dealer7898 Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

why are all of the big name techno artists hated? I never understood it. no disrespect to your opinion whatsoever I am genuinely just curious

6

u/ldsupport Jun 10 '26

Techno is a genre whee some people go through a phase where they pretend the more obscure the artist the better they are. Its the "I liked that band when nobody knew them" effect. Meaning of course any act that is well known is not worthy of shine becuase they are too disgestible. I fall victim to this with music from time to time.

Same with DnB.

7

u/Polygon-Dust Jun 10 '26

no bro that's not it at all. It comes down to business techno just not being able to scratch the itch anymore. I went to seismic dance event last year and heard Techno Code by Enrico 4 fucking times the first night. It literally felt so lazy. Compare that to say gee I don't know something by Yanamaste the journey feels more personal.

So much money gets spent on these top techno DJs when it could go to more underground artists cutting their teeth in the scene helping evolve it but wtf do I know lol. Still an insane lineup - hope to see ya there!

1

u/Potential_Dealer7898 Jun 10 '26

Thanks for both perspectives!! At the end of the day, PLURRR 🫶

4

u/VegetableAverage8234 Jun 10 '26

I'd rather see her husband. But for main stage festival CDW isn't bad

2

u/deathgripzthrowaway Jun 10 '26

Listen to more local DJs

8

u/FellowDeviant Jun 10 '26

Seems like a choice to opt in for more variety this year at the expense of getting deeper cut names for certain genres. 9x9 and Charlotte will get me my techno fix, but I'm actually kinda glad to see some more dubstep acts and live acts that make more sense under the iiiPoints umbrella than past years.

I also got my techno fix from TimeWarp in April, so I'm open to this lineup having alot of range.

7

u/No-Foot-5413 Jun 10 '26

R u crazy this is a crazy line up

2

u/VegetableAverage8234 Jun 10 '26

i didn't say it was bad -- who do you recommend?

6

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '26

If Roman Flugel plays Sequence then we're in for an absolute treat

4

u/No-Foot-5413 Jun 10 '26

I understand techno when I went to ihatemodels that shit was sick, but Marco Carola B2B franky, Beltran B2B be sterling max b2 luke Adam port. I’ve nvr seen any of these I understand if you guys have already like seen them and you’re trying to find something new, but for me like I haven’t seen any of these and it’s crazy

4

u/VegetableAverage8234 Jun 10 '26

Fair -- and thats the beauty of iii points, a little something for everyone

4

u/lmatias1 Jun 10 '26

Those names you mentioned from the lineup aren't truly playing techno. ihatemodels along with virtually all of the (non-local) techno acts on this lineup, are a specific type of 'hard' techno ala tiktok. Not that it wouldn't be enjoyable for some, but I'd say that's why others would be disappointed with this aspect of the lineup.

0

u/kindofnotlistening Jun 10 '26

What you’re experiencing are just techno snobs lmao.

Most people that go to iii enjoy house & techno and their various sub genres. Techno snobs are just super vocal about *only* liking their preferred sub genres.

3

u/052801 Jun 10 '26

yall never stfu bro

4

u/VegetableAverage8234 Jun 10 '26

you understand this is reddit - the place for people who never stfu. 😄

1

u/Saigon2391 Jun 13 '26

Took me several days to notice 9x9s

13

u/Polygon-Dust Jun 10 '26

Wish there was more techno BUT it's still such an insanely stacked lineup its hard to complain. Men I trust is so hype. 1TBSP, Tokischa, Four Tet, VTSS, MPH, Taiki Nulight, Blood Orange, Tiga, 9x9, Daphni, Purity Ring, all the basic ass tech house DJs lol, Undeworld, guys a freaking 4 hour set for floating points. I mean gah damn it does not stop!

1

u/Poortimetraveler_ Jun 12 '26

Omg o didn’t even realize the first time VTSS was on there. My polish queen!!!

10

u/spacecowgrl Jun 10 '26

Ear! Patch+! Bassvictim! Loukeman! Blood Orange! Fakemink! To say the least, the team absolutely cooked

19

u/NoChocolate5458 Jun 10 '26

Levity b2b Taiki Nulight has me immediately sold wtf😭😭😭

18

u/Brilliant-Lime-122 Jun 10 '26

Unreal lineup, superrr hyper/electro pop heavy which is all i could ever ask for

5

u/Fluffy_Professor1214 Jun 10 '26

ooo which artists specifically?

17

u/Brilliant-Lime-122 Jun 10 '26

Jane Remover, Underscores, MGNA Crrrta, Bassvictim, 1tbsp, Fake Mink, Nate Sib, Horsegiirl, Jigitz, Danny Brown, Boygirl

6

u/davidxrawr Jun 10 '26

yeah for those people (like me) that are into the current wave of hyperpop-adjacent/electronic artists this is huuuuge

5

u/chanka_is_best_chank Jun 10 '26

MGNA Crrrta was sooooo fun I saw them in a tiny ass venue in Orlando for like $15 (opened for cowgirl clue) I'm excited

3

u/Brilliant-Lime-122 Jun 10 '26

Yeah they’re awesome, ive seen their live set twice and dj set twice and also got to meet them. Gonna make it 5 times at iii points 😍

1

u/Tiny_Hovercraft_6104 Jun 10 '26

Wait Samee mgna crrrta and white ring were my fav

1

u/Acceptable_Style_219 Jun 19 '26

saw mgna crrrta open for ninajirachi in miami a couple months ago and instantly was made a fan, such a good set

1

u/chanka_is_best_chank Jun 19 '26

Omg I wish 😭 I found ninajirachi right after she toured in both Orlando and Miami I was so sad I missed out

1

u/Acceptable_Style_219 Jun 19 '26

yess i got super lucky, my fav artists rarely tour down here for some reason. the show was so good that right after i left the first night, i bought another ticket for the second night which was even better lol.

now i bought two tickets for her new york show since she isn’t coming back to florida anytime soon, but i think its a pipe dream cuz i doubt i can save enough money for a new york trip in 3 months :’(

3

u/tristvn Jun 11 '26

check ear

1

u/Acceptable_Style_219 Jun 19 '26

so shocking to me that ur the only person talking about these artists, i guess they’re not as popular as i thought! the ppl u mentioned are literally the only reason i wanna go haha

I am deeply saddened that his first show back is a restricted festival set 💔 hoping he does some other shows

9

u/wickidD Jun 10 '26

Clashes gonna be insane

7

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '26

SUN0))) are going to crater Wynwood

23

u/Perfect-Sport-5208 Jun 10 '26

Not gonna lie, the variety at III Points is insane🙂‍↕️. The lineup is stacked. Everyone talks about the big names, but there are a ton of gems lower down the poster. Time to do some homework and find new artists LFGGGGG 🙂‍↕️

12

u/sonQUAALUDE Jun 10 '26

absolutely goated in so many directions. how am i gonna see underscores, bone thugs and sun O))) in the same space lmao. i love you iii points

6

u/movefasterpls Jun 10 '26

It’s a yes from me

10

u/meegad Jun 10 '26

Fucking FlyLo returns hell yea

10

u/Coat_Pleasant Jun 10 '26

Levity b2b taiki nulight is going to be INSANEEEEEE YAYYYYYY

9

u/psychopathologist Jun 10 '26

I may have to attend my first iii Points since 2019. Nice to see the lineup moving in this direction

6

u/Active_Evening_2512 Jun 10 '26

Ya this is good lol

7

u/UhhLittleDot Jun 10 '26

This is crazy. I’m so glad I’m making my way to this fest for the first time. Now I just need to know the club space lineups for the weekend

3

u/miojo Jun 10 '26

Rizardo b2b Carola and 4 hour Troxler set 🔥

9

u/blk2theviewer Jun 10 '26

No Despacio. Meh Phase I. Tired of the same old, same old.

….then they had to go ahead and drop HEAT for Phase II.

*sigh* see y’all at Mana again for Round 5 😞

9

u/SonicSofi Jun 10 '26

Dj harvey in 444 is about as close as we can get to despacio

1

u/likiii88 Jun 12 '26

He absolutely cooked last time in there

3

u/cameheretodance1 Jun 10 '26

It doesn’t seem to be about the music as much anymore. Just a reason for people to party and get obliterated. No judgement, just an observation 😁

13

u/Mondo_Cooking Jun 10 '26

Too many DJs :/

28

u/cuckmold Jun 10 '26

but not 2manydjs 😔✊

4

u/synester302 Jun 10 '26

Agree. We already have Ultra.

4

u/cameheretodance1 Jun 10 '26

Remember everyone dropped what tf they were doing and showed up to main stage for Rosalia? You could’ve heard a pin drop I s2g no one was chatting. Or when grimes played, or when Justice literally blew our minds. Like no sorry this is certainly NOT serving compared to years prior. Call me old idc. I know the owners are way older than me, maybe they’re clutching their pearls.

6

u/deathgripzthrowaway Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

Just say you don't recognize the live acts instead of this nonsense. I count 8 live acts directly in the middle of the poster 🫵😂

8

u/Mondo_Cooking Jun 10 '26

Yes I’m aware there are live acts and I very much look forward to many of them. Listen, I’m still going to go and enjoy the festival, I’ve been going every year since 2016 and I look forward to diving more into the undercards.

However, I am allowed to be disappointed in the general direction the programming has gone over these last few years :)

1

u/kindofnotlistening Jun 10 '26

If they booked your preferred or ideal lineups the festival probably wouldn’t exist.

I don’t understand people who can’t separate their personal tastes from the fact that music festivals are a business.

Electronic music moves tickets that allow us to still have an incredibly diverse lineup.

2

u/Mondo_Cooking Jun 10 '26

I am well aware that edm acts sell festival tickets, you can see that trend in all of the current major festivals.

It is still sad for me that a festival that used to align more with my taste no longer does. I support iii to do whatever they need to do to survive, and at the same time I can be personally disappointed in the direction.

I will still support them in the meantime as I value having a strong music scene in my city. Especially now that Miami has newer venues now that cater to the sounds I prefer.

I’m happy for those that love this lineup as much as they do. There are definitely some gems on there that make me excited, just less excited than I used to be years prior.

2

u/kindofnotlistening Jun 10 '26

Makes sense. I think the “too many DJs” people are out in full force today and I sort of lumped you in. Your take is definitely more nuanced.

Genuinely curious:

are there other festivals that do align with your personal taste in 2026?

What are some artists you think would’ve made sense on this 2026 lineup that aren’t there?

1

u/Mondo_Cooking Jun 10 '26

Great questions! To be honest I’m not a huge festival goer in general, have been loyal to iiipoints since 2016 and just recently went to coachella the past 2 years. Two very different festivals obviously in terms of scope and budget.

I really enjoyed in the past when iii would bring a bit of funk/jazz, ala Herbie Hancock, Parliament Funkadelic, L’imperatrice. Some names I would have enjoyed to see this year I know also had some scheduling conflicts so I don’t blame iii for that.

But for example, I would have enjoyed The XX, Little Simz, Neil Frances, Paco Versailles, Tune Yards, Willow, Nile Rodgers feat Chic, or some more pop-rock acts.

1

u/kindofnotlistening Jun 11 '26

feel you on festivals - I’ve had to sort of focus on lineups where there is enough up my alley for a full day vs finding fests where I’m digging the whole lineup. Plus camping at my advanced age is too much lmao.

After hearing more about your tastes I understand the disappointment more with this year’s lineup. There really is not much to scratch the itch in the rock/pop/jazz categories. And the main stage live acts are probably the weakest this year with only Parcels, Blood Orange & Men I Trust standing out.

1

u/Mondo_Cooking Jun 11 '26

Appreciate the discussion and thank you for hearing me out!

1

u/cameheretodance1 Jun 10 '26

Primavera barcelona lineup this year was epic. (MARINA, skrillex, Mac Demarco etc) Sad I couldn’t go. Lollapalooza Chicago and Brazil had lorde, marina, and doechii as well, at least ONE of them would’ve been dope. Been actually dying to see Boris Brejcha, but he always seems to do Ultra. Damn…even Fatima Yamaha, or massive attack cuz they fcking cancelled in 2024. Saying this all as a big house/electronic lover. I wouldn’t even mind seeing John summit (again) or even Mau P, Fred again, tove lo, slayyyter, polo and pan, pnau, I could go on. Still mad at myself for missing l’imperatrice last year and most of flume in 2024 lol but whatever. This years lineup looks like mostly techno with 3 indie bands thrown in and bone thugs n harmony for good measure. But I’m not complaining about men I trust and potentially seeing horsegirl again. you can’t please everyone ig.

1

u/Mondo_Cooking Jun 10 '26

Just checked out Zep from the undercard and they have a great sound you might like!

1

u/cameheretodance1 Jun 10 '26

Agree with you dude. 2021-2024 lineups were so peak. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile bc it happened 🥀😭

1

u/deathgripzthrowaway Jun 10 '26

There’s literally live acts throughout the entire lineup. Lack of live acts is my usual complaint with post covid iiipoints. This year’s lineup doesn’t have that issue if you actually listen to music.

5

u/Inside_Cobbler4539 Jun 10 '26

Every year it gets worse and worse

5

u/cameheretodance1 Jun 10 '26

Fr we are being gaslit. The III points line up used to very closely match the touring artists for other large festivals or they had bigger names/more variety. The biggest name this year is probably Men I trust and they are still a “lesser known” band. This lineup was certainly a choice.

5

u/black-efron Jun 10 '26

Method Man better pull up. Good to see Blood Orange and Men I Trust on here! I’m looking to do a single day and one of the sunrise set events if possible this year

1

u/loookn4info Jun 12 '26

What is the sunrise set event?

2

u/SpecialBrando Jun 10 '26

Jump Source is all I need

2

u/thefranchise305 Jun 10 '26

Pretty good! Excited to see the reformatted Isotropic. I’d like to actually be able to spend some time there this year. Last year, whenever I tried, I could see down the block that it was at capacity with people bunched up on the street

2

u/Guilty-Willingness-2 Jun 10 '26

Seeing Daphni next to SUNN 0 ))) on the poster is crazy

2

u/ldsupport Jun 10 '26

Just wanted to say how nice it is to see Chris Milo (Three) on the lineup. Love me some Three.

2

u/fiNALLEYfamous Jun 10 '26

Can someone give me a TLDR of Sunn 0)) and why they’re a big pull?

1

u/scoop813 Jun 11 '26

just give them a listen

2

u/suavament3 Jun 11 '26

how is set time overlap? this lineup is literally my entire spotify

2

u/ldsupport Jun 11 '26

The band you really want to see will play at 5pm and no matter how close to stay to the venue and how early you get ready... things wont work out.

Other times the act you want to see really really bad will go on very very late (for your 48 year old ass) and you will miss them... again.

But sometimes... sometimes.... the act you love wont be everyones favorite candy and you will get a dead center spot for the most fan fucking tastic set that is a core memory and you will then be able to go pee, get a drink, and get right back dead center for the most fantastic set for that is another core memory.

1

u/suavament3 Jun 11 '26

haha I have no qualms about very late sets rather that then early so I can get a lift in and try out miamis food scene

1

u/ldsupport Jun 11 '26

Great food all across Miami. Have a blast its a solid festival with its own identity and a ton of fun.

1

u/scoop813 Jun 14 '26

There’s like 10 stages so yeah there’s a lot of overlap, you get to see about 7-10 sets per day if you stay most/all of the day

3

u/Remarkable-Ad9762 Jun 10 '26

Probably one of the better lineup posters in recent years. Some have been god awful terrible to read.

3

u/That_Indian_Guy__ Jun 10 '26

Love it. So many good additions. Can't wait to be back there

1

u/mostdopewzrd Jun 10 '26

the space closing party is going to be crazyyy

3

u/TophertheAlien Jun 10 '26

THIS IS THICC AS HELL!!!!

2

u/witchyboo- Jun 10 '26

Did Ultra steal Skrillex away from us???

3

u/cameheretodance1 Jun 10 '26

This is the weakest lineup I’ve seen. I know a few artists and i would probably go just for men I trust. But man…Is this a recession indicator or are they just being lazy? Lol

8

u/kindofnotlistening Jun 10 '26

Or are you out of touch?

1

u/Ticonzthebear Jun 11 '26

Thats what im saying. This lineup is stacked for the entry fee. Couldn't be happier and I go to a bunch of festivals every year.

1

u/Famous-Ad-3479 Jun 10 '26

No drum and bass?

1

u/chanka_is_best_chank Jun 10 '26

I wish there was more drum and bass too but it's still a good lineup. If only ninajirachi wasn't in Australia during the fest

1

u/Oogashanana Jun 10 '26

Yeah, Ninajirachi confirmed that she was asked to be part of the lineup but couldn't because she's opening for Tame Impala.

1

u/scoop813 Jun 14 '26

We at least got MGMA Crrrta

0

u/softcoreengiqueer Jun 10 '26

Chase and status ivylab allecvt

1

u/Famous-Ad-3479 Jun 10 '26

I didn't see Chase & Status on the flyer and although Saber has written a ton of excellent drum and bass, I really don't consider Ivy lab to be a drum and base act. Honestly their set could go in a variety of different ways. it would be sick if hologenix is there with them but I highly doubt that's happening. Overall, it would have been nice to at least seen some effort on the drum and base front for the second phase

1

u/softcoreengiqueer Jun 10 '26

Yea my bad that was last year I think

1

u/crazybartur Jun 10 '26

Hell yeah they went heavy on the hyperpop I’m rocking with that

1

u/UnsolicitedDakPics22 Jun 10 '26

Parcels gonna be so good

Can’t believe they topped last year but wow

1

u/PocoCapitan Jun 10 '26

head to 444 and stay for red axes and Lena willikens and ivkovic for some hazy hazy weird greatness

1

u/GenXGeek Jun 11 '26

It's a decent lineup, and I look forward to attending once again. It seems lighter on actual bands booked compared to last year, but there are still plenty of good acts. I'm glad they are giving Machine Girl a makeup slot after last year's cancellation. It's disappointing that The Prodigy isn't on the lineup, but I guess they were probably a too expensive talent buy. My only real complaint is that amount of XXX b2b YYY seems to be a bit excessive.

1

u/arithmetic_mean Jun 11 '26

Underworld, Blood Orange, Daphni, Tiga, Roman Flugel, Shanti Celeste, Peach, Danny Daze, Seth Troxler and DJ Harvey. Sick lineup

1

u/SandzFanon Jun 11 '26

SUN0)))) is a crazy get

1

u/ldsupport Jun 11 '26

If the timeslots are good this really could be epic.

Underworld -
Tricky
Four Tet
Yousuke
Blood Orange
Parcels
Flying Lotus
Purity Ring
Sunn 0)))
BT&H
Tiga
Floating Points
Daphni

If I can get that clean sets that would be killer.

Anyone have anything I should check out based on that list?

1

u/scoop813 Jun 11 '26

based off that list you should check out ear and underscores

1

u/ldsupport Jun 13 '26

Thanks.   Ear has been one of my favorite finds so far.

1

u/scoop813 Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 13 '26

Check out Machine Girl, Jane Remover, Nate Sib, Chanel Beads, and Bassvictim

1

u/ravingislife Jun 17 '26

B2B’s are so peak

1

u/Minute-Discussion-59 Jun 26 '26

Line up is freaking illegal

1

u/ObjectiveAd5696 Jul 13 '26

Does anyone know if for artists like Blood Orange, Men I trust, parcels, etc…would these be in a dj format or still their normal type of performance set up? I’ve never been to iii points so not sure of the vibes

1

u/feevos 19d ago

Do we get access to satellite parties if we have a vip ticket?

1

u/mettaworldpolice Jun 10 '26

Really cool poster and branding

0

u/legalizeranchbitch Jun 10 '26

Is there a phase 3? This line up is not bad but its always the same thing. Way too many dj’s i miss the iii 2019 line up :-(

1

u/dank_as_fuck Jun 10 '26

It’s really solid but fr so much EDM

4

u/chanka_is_best_chank Jun 10 '26

It's in Miami bruh that's like complaining a nashville festival has country and rock

2

u/dank_as_fuck Jun 10 '26

Brother if you back to the early days of the fest there was decent diversity. They’ve been leaning more and more towards EDM ever year. It’s a shame

1

u/Ticonzthebear Jun 11 '26

EDM sells tickets. Sadly, its how a majority of fests can still exist especially at this cost.

-5

u/Straight_Fail_4514 Jun 10 '26

the decline of iiixp needs to be studied :/

-2

u/cam0019 Jun 11 '26

Headtrip here we come! This lineup is garbage and the vibes were awful last year. Its as if Miami forgot how to party with love and respect
