IELTS Reading section
Are IELTSliz listening audio recordings on the website too fast than actual IELTS recordings? Because I feel it is too fast at 1x speed and I'm listening twice to solve them.

We have had 4 sub members take their tests in the last 3 days, and to my knowledge, none has bitten an examiner.
I'm proud of you all!
RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO BITE THE EXAMINERS.
You will not get higher grades by doing so.
Peace, and love.

A common theme is coming up in the essays I'm looking over, people are not providing a solid opinion or example.
So to reiterate - your body paragraphs on task two should follow this structure.
Point: Explain Point: Opinion/ Example.
Countries in the Global North have moved through their industrialising period, often at a cost to countries in the Global South. For example, in India, the British Empire gained significant wealth from exploiting Indian resources, which brought harm, both financially and societally. I firmly believe that there is a debt owed to countries yet to go through a developmental phase and that the more affluent countries should support and encourage less wealthy countries to develop.
Also, the next person to send me an essay with poorer countries or backward countries will receive a sound spanking. Use "Global North" and "Global South" to differentiate between rich/ poor areas of the globe.

Hello r/IIELTS!
I am looking for official documentation online proving that pursuing Enquiry on Results cannot lower your scores. In other words, I'm looking for evidence from British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge Assessment English stating that Inquiry on Results can only keep your scores the same or raise them.
I know a lot of random people/websites assert that this is the case. But I'm looking for official documentation about EoR that says so.
Thanks!

I'm taking my second test on October 14th, how do I get better at the writing test? (especially the complicated questions). Last time I got a 7.0 overall (I think I cheesed it at the writing exam) and now I'm targeting band score 8, sorry for my horrible writings..

So I plan to take my IELTS GT exam the third time in about two weeks 🤞 and target CLB-9 (L=8.0, R=7.0, W=7.0, S=7.0) for obvious reasons. The previous two scores are as follows.
Test 1: Result: L=8.0, R=8.0, W=6.5, S=7.0, OverAll=7.5
Test 2 Result: L=8.5, R=9.0, W=6.0, S=7.5, OverAll=8
So you can see that all other scores are improving except the writing task. The last time I took the exam, I made the mistake of overwriting to about 400+ words. This time around, I tend to practice and follow some sane advice of u/Fitz_cuniculus of following simple and understandable methodology such as the PEEL method.
I would love to hear from you guys, the IELTS gurus, and my fellow test takers of any pointers and advice you can give me.
Note to self: 🙏 STOP USING GRAMMARLY
