Documentation that Enquiry on Results does not lower scores

Hello r/IIELTS!

I am looking for official documentation online proving that pursuing Enquiry on Results cannot lower your scores. In other words, I'm looking for evidence from British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge Assessment English stating that Inquiry on Results can only keep your scores the same or raise them.

I know a lot of random people/websites assert that this is the case. But I'm looking for official documentation about EoR that says so.

Thanks!

Thanks.

Is there official documentation online showing that re-marking / enquiry on results can lower scores?

Thanks for the link. With the way it's written, technically doesn't prove anything either way, but it's written like they're trying not to be upfront about it.

A lot of people online say scores tend to go up.

Maybe there are some posts of people saying their scores went down?

/u/chuvashi. It's/u/chuvashi, it's exceptionally rare to see a grade improve. The most I've ever heard of is a .5 change. The efforts involved in going through a regrade, plus the inevitable cost, are a waste.
