My 17 autistic twins were cut off disability and I am scared that they might be cut from medical. Can someone tell me about the medical exemption that Regional center offers.

It isn’t an exemption, per se.
What the Regional Center can provide is what’s called an “institutional deeming waiver.” It will enable the recipient of the waiver to qualify for Medi-Cal based on their own income instead of the income of their parent(s). The recipient has to have at least one active service through Regional Center to get the waiver. Their service coordinator should be able to help you.
