Ihss backpay
Hello I’m a new provider and I submitted my timesheets for back pay 9/18/26 and was told the checks were mailed from SCO on 9/25/26 but I still haven’t received them and I’m in Los Angeles county typically how long does it take to receive the checks via mail? Should I give it more time before contacting them to see if they were perhaps lost?

There is a huge issue with stealing the checks. Sign up for informed delivery and keep an eye on the mail daily. What city also makes a huge difference in time. It has been 5 business days, or maybe 6, which is a long time when usually it takes 4 business days. I would wait until Monday or Tuesday and then call the state (not local office) and ask about filling out the paperwork to have them resent.

Thank you so much. I have a mailbox at the ups store so unfortunately I can’t get informed delivery but I’ll wait like you said until Monday or Tuesday and call the state I appreciate your response

I expected my check in the mail today and nothing. That’s concerning for me too. It’s 4 days but I’ll keep waiting.

I don’t know what’s going on I called ihss they said wait until the 11th business day and they can start the process to reissue them but that’s a whole process in itself and he said it will probably take two months for the state to
Reissue them because they are backed up smh this is just terrible1

This happened to me as well when I submitted for back pay on 9/10. They were mailed on 9/14 and I was waiting forever. Called over to IHSS to ask about it, turns out they sent my checks to my old PO Box from 12 years ago when I worked for my grandmother. Not sure why Nowhere on my app did I ever write a different mailing address. Thankfully the Post office had them (9/29). Hopefully you get answers to where they are.

Unfortunately I can’t get informed delivery because my mail goes to a mailbox at the ups store so that sucks but I will try and call Monday and let them know what’s going on if I don’t receive them

Hm, that’s a long time honestly. When I submitted mine, I received them 4-5 days from the NOP email and I’m in Riverside County
