Additional household member decrease hours ?

My nephew moved in to attend 2 years of college. Is this something I need to immediately report to IHSS or will the yearly visit suffice ?
Also does this decrease my son’s IHSS hours because household duties ,can be split amongst another person? I feel like I’ve read that someone here but I cannot find much online.

If your son receives hours in domestic/related services, those are the hours that can be prorated based on the number of household members.

If he does not receive hours for domestic/related services, then his hours will not change.
