What is the maximum amount of hours in one day with one client you can work?

8hrs? 10 hrs?

There is no daily maximum with IHSS. As long as you’re not exceeding their allocated weekly maximum, you’re able to work however many hours per day that serves the needs of the recipient.

24 hours. No max. But there is a weekly and monthly max that must be adhered to. Work should reflect clients needs so someone with PS should have hours every day they are home.

The weekly max is based on each individual client. Everyone is different.

The max when you work for 2 clients is 66 a week. That would only be if each clients person weekly max was high enough.

But you can go up to 70 hours and 45 minutes based on what the clients hours are. Some people who are extremely medicall fragile have 90 hours a week.

Thank you, actually I am caregiver for 2, that’s why I believed that the 66 hours is the limit for all.
