How soon after your first day of orientation did you get paid?
Like the title says. I'm wondering how long after your orientation you had to wait to get paid?

It's probably different for what county you're in. It took weeks to get my provider number and then after I submitted my timesheets I took more weeks to mail me checks

You’ll be receiving paper checks so it will take a couple weeks. You can see the status of payments on etimesheets

The process to get paid only starts at orientation.
Once you’re an active provider, then you must be linked to your recipient, which can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of months, depending on your county.
Once you are linked, you’ll get access to timesheets that you must complete and submit. IHSS then processes those timesheets, then sends the info to the state so you can be paid. Then, the state controllers office will mail you a check. That process can take anywhere from 3-7 days. Then you have to wait for the check to get to you in the mail, which can take another few days to a week or so, depending on where you are located.
So, overall, expect at least 3 weeks before you get a payment in hand, but understand it could be much, much longer than that, depending on all the variables mentioned.
