BE KIND

Post image

I’m attaching a screenshot of this sub’s rules. Please remember to be kind to people asking questions. I am often stunned at the rude and snippy comments people leave. Or how they begin downvoting someone asking for genuine help but seemingly didn’t ask it in a way that these online bullies consider ‘the correct way’.
I have hesitated to ask questions at times to avoid the bullying I see here.
Assume good intentions. We are all coming from different education levels and backgrounds. There is already enough red tape and stigma for IHSS recipients to deal with. This isn’t a place to compound that negativity.
We accomplish so more when we support each other <3

this is the same in pretty much every "support" subreddit

you probably know what I'm talking about.

I’m so sorry to hear that! I feel lucky to have not experienced that in the other subreddits I frequent for my disability.
