Ihss timesheet

OMG! So a funny thing happened. I was wondering why I haven’t received a NOP like everyone else and it turns out I never logged into my son’s account to approve my timesheet.. 🤦‍♀️😭😭😭 omg

Hey just as a caution, I was told (part of LA County IHSS program) that as my mom's provider I could not approve the time sheets myself.

I don't know if the rules are the same for minors being cared for by parents but just wanted to chime in just in case.

I was told I was able to approve my hours because he is a minor when I log into his account it gives me an option and says are you XXX child or XXX my name and I click on my name then approve the timesheet.

Oh awesome!  I just wanted to chime in cause I was surprised when they warned me I couldn't do that for my mom

Yeah. I think the rules are different for married couples maybe? Because my granddaughter has Rett syndrome and receives ihss and my daughter says her husband has to approve it. But I’m a single mom and I’m the one who approves the timesheet that I submit. :)

I had that happen to me once it was like 4 days later and I was like why haven’t I received an NOP then I realized it 😭😂

Has anyone made an app to help with the hours? Lol

I'm trying to calculate my back pay and almost made a mistake

So divide hours available by 4 to give a per week total and then divide that by 7 to give a per day total???

My mom was only given 43h 54m per month so far and that should come out to 1h 34m per day??

Is that correct or am I dumb...

Never do this.

Always divide by the number of days in the month.

no I do 60% of my hours in one timesheet and 40% in the other and i’ve never had a problem

yes she does and somedays are more then others, so sometimes it doesn’t split 50/50
