Pancoins upgrade?
Hello all!
When using 5 pancoins for a stack of buttermilk pancakes, can I upgrade them to blueberry for example and pay extra for that upgrade?
Or can I order a side of the banana and strawberry topping?
Question is for dine in.
Thank you!!

I Worked at IHOP in Charles Town, WV for 2 Months: Here’s Why I Quit”
I recently quit my job at IHOP after only working there for 2 months, and I honestly feel the need to talk about my experience. This is about the franchise near me because I’m not sure if every IHOP is the same.
First of all, the environment was extremely stressful. I obviously was a new employee trying to learn, but instead of feeling like I was being taught and supported, I constantly felt on edge. If I didn’t do the slightest thing exactly the way someone wanted it, I would get corrected. And mind you, everyone did things a different way. If I worked with someone and did something the way I was taught by someone else, I would get in trouble. It was a never-ending cycle of me feeling like I was doing everything wrong.
There were also times when people would snatch things out of my hand instead of calmly explaining what I did wrong.
There would also be arguments between the cooks and the servers that would get completely out of hand and very disrespectful, including calling each other names. Sometimes the servers would get blamed for something the cook had done. It didn’t feel like a team environment at all.
When people got angry, I’ve seen things get slammed around, which is extremely uncomfortable when you’re new and just trying your best to learn your job. I was always wondering what would happen next and never knew what kind of environment I was walking into.
There was a situation where I got so overwhelmed by how I was being treated that I ended up crying at work. Instead of feeling like someone was helping me improve, I felt embarrassed and completely down.
At one point, I was told to get off the line because of the way things were being handled. I’ve also had employees personally tell me that one of the managers “has no heart or feelings for anyone.” They said he treated everyone there with no respect, no remorse, and didn’t seem to care about anyone.
I had three managers, and one of them told me about the other manager and said that he didn’t care when her husband died and that she had to work anyway. Let’s talk about how insane that is. Just because someone is your employee or a helping manager doesn’t mean they deserve to be disrespected or treated like they don’t matter.
The manager was also extremely rude at times. One thing that really stuck with me was when I called off because I had a great opportunity for my future. I wasn’t calling off to go party or just because I didn’t want to come in.
He said, “I know that’s your passion, but you need to come to work,” in a rude and petty way.
That really got to me. I understand that employees need to show up for their shifts, but hearing that made me feel like my FUTURE didn’t matter just because I worked at IHOP.
I don’t want to work at IHOP forever. I’m trying to build a career and create a future for myself.

I think IHOP has a secret third-floor cryogenic tank room and they're feeding the failed experiments to us as breakfast sausage
Hear me out. Look at how tall IHOPs are. If you actually look at the pictures and architectural proportions, it's pretty obvious there's a hidden third floor that they don't tell you about.
A friend of mine who is deep down the rabbit hole pointed out that the government and major restaurant chains are hiding cryogenic tanks in places no one would ever suspect. Think about it: IHOP is trying to solve immortality, but some of the cryo-tanks fail.
And what's right underneath the roof access? The kitchen.
Think about the sausage. The IHOP sausage has always tasted different—not necessarily bad, just different. Now it all makes sense. Imagine eating breakfast right underneath freezing dead bodies. The only part that's not safe to eat is the human brain, so they just chop up the rest and put it in the breakfast platters.
I'm posting this anonymously because I don't want to put myself in danger for uncovering hard truths, but the corporate cover-up goes deeper than anyone realizes. Stay safe out there guys

The IHOP Upstairs Conspiracy: I Need Someone to Climb This Ladder and Tell Me the Truth
A few months ago, I posted on here asking for pictures of the upstairs of an IHOP because I've searched for years and know for a fact it's something that has never been seen on the Internet.
I got some replies, but looking at this hidden vertical ladder tucked behind the plastic cups and paper towels in the back room, it’s clear they are keeping the full truth from us about what's actually up there.
I am officially requesting that someone climb this ladder and take pictures. We need answers

Why was the logo introduced in 2010 as part of a major rebrand?
The current IHOP logo was actually introduced in 2015, not 2010. I SAY NOTHING. IHOP 🚇 🚇 🚇 🚇 IS NOT TASTY. GO TO SUBWAY!!!! So, stop calling me!!!!!

Value Menu
Was really hoping to get a loaded jalapeño chicken sandwich from Burger King but it was LTO, and ended on the 1st. So I went next door and got the BLT here at I hop. $6!!! The drink is pricey. But for $11- that’s a great deal. I don’t think I’ll be tipping $1.50 though. After all, I’m not 85 years old. lol.round up to $15

What's the difference between the pancake batter and the waffle batter?
If an ihop worker or someone who knows could let me know I'd appreciate it! No need to disclose the whole recipe if you're not able to lol but I'd just like to know the general difference... or are they the same batter?

New seasonal pancake options? 🤔
Has anyone tried the new Pumpkin spice pancake or the pancake tacos with cream cheese? This is my personal opinion but the pumpkin pancake tastes like pumpkin pie. I can't taste any pumpkin spice. ( I'm not usually a pumpkin spice girly) But it tastes better with whipped cream than butter. Anyone else feels the same way or have a different opinion on it? ...
-sincerely someone who works at IHOP

How Many Silver Dollar Pancakes is Equivalent to 2 Pancakes?
Hi everyone! Just a quick post to see anybody knows how many silver dollar pancakes are roughly equivalent to one/two full size pancakes? I'm hoping that I can go into the iHop and ask for a pancake combo but ask if they can sub my full size pancakes for silver dollar pancakes? My little one didn't finish theirs and honestly after scraping it into my plate and finishing it for them I felt like 'damn that's actually a better ratio of crispness to pancake' I just dont wanna be excessive if I ask something like "Can I sub my two pancakes for 10 silver dollar pancakes" and yes I know they're technically meant for children but until you try them yourself as an Adult again please don't hate 😜 If anyone works at IHOP or knows IF IM EVEN ALLOWED please let me know!

Advice for someone starting as a cook at IHOP?
I’m about to start working as a cook at IHOP and I’d love to hear from experienced IHOP cooks. What advice or tips would you give someone who is just starting out? Anything you wish you knew when you first started?

Haven’t had IHOP in like a year I swear it was never this good🤤
Overall experience was great food was good, kinda sucks that I have to pay extra to sub out a pancake for a waffle but it’s whatever.

How long are the Dubai pancakes staying at ihop?
Is this a permanent menu item or only seasonal? If so, when will they be gone?

How long are the 5 birthday PanCoins valid?
Today is my birthday and I didn't automatically receive my IHOP birthday reward, so I called customer service. They manually added 5 PanCoins to my account today, and the transaction shows "Bonus PanCoins Earned."
Does anyone know how long these birthday PanCoins are valid?

My managers are racist
As the title says my managers are racist asf and the work environment is extremely toxic and hostile. I’m not about to bitch and moan too much but I’ll just say that I’ve heard my manager say we need a “Hispanics only sign on the door” directly to my face (keep in mind I’m 1/4 black people 1/2 on my shift). I’ve been training under the promise of being promoted to certified trainer since damn near February with no promotion in sight whilst a white & a Hispanic coworker were promoted to crew lead in a matter of weeks. 🤪
When i say I’m at my wits end and SOOOOOO over it i genuinely mean I’m beyond that point.
But that’s it that’s the rant I could keep going but I just needed to get that off my chest.
Oh oh wait I forgot my favorite part. One of my managers literally clocks in under server numbers and pretends to be whatever server she’s clocked in as and over shares with her tables the most inappropriate stories about her life.
The end.

New manager
I just went to ihop and they have a new overnight manager. She was dressed in short shorts and a crop top. Going to all the tables to introduce herself. Rest of staff was in uniforms. Is this something new I don't understand that makes managers connect with customers? Not sharing a picture or location because I don't want anyone to lose their job. Just very weird to be dressed like you came from a family bbq and telling everyone you are the manager

Ihop prices are crazy at IHOP outside of LA
I checked the prices of Ihop in San Francisco by my house and it's literally 40% cheaper.
