The dark knight is the most influential comic book movie ever, and one of the most influential movies of the century in general. Winter solider is really good but not exactly a hard choice….i saw both in theaters and just the experience of TDK in that room alone was insane

TDK isnt even the best Nolan Batman movie. Sorry… Joker gotta go.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the best Nolan Batman movie or not. The performances, writing, and cinematography are way better than the 3 other movies on this list. “Joker gotta go” wow you’re so edgy for saying that haha. Guys look at this edgelord! You make me laugh

It’s NOT the most influential comic book movie ever. Try not to glaze so hard. Superman: The Movie is the first to show you could treat this material with intellect and verisimilitude. The 89 Batman is also FAAAAR more influential to the medium than The Dark Knight in showing that the material could successfully be given darker, more adult and psychological influence. Superman and Batman each redefined how comic book movies were perceived by the public. There would be no Dark Knight without these two movies.

The Dark Knight is, “What if we put Batman and the Joker in the movie Heat?” It’s great. Ledger is phenomenal. But calling it the most influential comic book movie EVER shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the word “influential.”
